Are any other Asmodians upset by this?

Is it just me or is the fact that all of these Elyos posted in this Asmodian forum on the Asmodian board to insult other Asmodian's just an example of what the original poster was talking about and a confirmation of the immaturity in the Elyos faction as well?

Maybe I'm not normal for wanting to be an Asmo? I think the look of the Asmodians, their land, mane, pointy ears, glowy eyes, bat wings, and so on is beautiful! ^_^

But the most upsetting thing for me is when I hear, "The immature players will play Asmo".

The two biggest MMORPGs out there right now that specifically place you on one alliance or the other are, CoH/CoV, and WoW. I have played Heroes, Villains, Alliance and Horde extensively, and I have to tell you folks.. There are immature players on every side!
There will always be the "LOL OWNED U" jerk who kills you unfairly, and there is always the little kid who just doesn't know how to play, but likes to brag that he does.

I just wanted to see if any other Asmodians are also hurt by fellow gamers who are dying to play this game bashing us Asmos in more ways than I feel like bringing up. :[

I actually feel the Asmo character creation is superior to Elyos. The character faces are stronger (glowing eyes are a plus), appear overall more powerful/mature/adult-like to me, and I like the skin colors and tattoos better. However, I really dislike the "hunched forward" run. It took me out of the game repeatedly and it was a constant distraction. The mane...'eh. I don't like it much, but if they fixed the gait to be less labored, I'd roll Asmos. The Elyos side seemed far too cherubic and "youthful", but honestly - with all the running around you do, labor's the last thing I want to endure with a character I'll be spending so much time playing.

I agree that the Asmo run was a bit distracting especially on a female asmo. I do wish we ran like Elyos females.

I think it's stupid that people see Asmo's as evil. Just because of their complexion and style. It's like calling a black person evil just because they stole your bike. . . wait I said that wrong.

Methinks it's just about roleplay. Saying that every Asmodian is a bad guy is exactly what an arrogant judgemental Elyos would say. On the other hand, if these comment relate to the real life, I can only say that those ppl playing Elyos who say that ppl playing Asmodians are bad (or immature), are really as arrogant and judgemental as their virtual Elyos characters.

In a good game, it's ALWAYS more complicated than "good vs. evil".

In a game played by a large number of people, there are ALWAYS immature and jerky players on both sides. And honestly I haven't noticed a difference between the amount of jerks. They tend to be jerky about different things though.

To be honest, i think it's immature of the Elyos players generalising that all Asmo players are kids... And to the point that were evil?? Elyos are the opressors. By chance they end up on the light side of the world and cause we look different were oppressed! We look far superior, they are zach effron wanna be's haha!

i think our female armor is skimpier then theirs....hence we get more eye candy and they call us evil but deep down inside...... Elyos men feel deprived and the women are mad they cant pull off that look.

ok asmos, got a question...

I'm leaning Asmodian I think, though i haven't' played at all. i'm gonna get into the beta on the next go around and working to DL the chinaclient with the guide here, but while i'm waiting to try all that...

how do you rate the two starting zones comparatively? What about the totality of zones for each faction/race? I haven't gotten to see much of the scenery and what I have seen, I don't know where to place, but a lot of the Asmodian side zones seem to look kinna dull. Any links or insight? Even if it is just to put a label on the videos in the media area of the main site: Video | Aion

I wanted to be Asmo dunno if its because im Emo IRL or what lol but i think the landscape is nice and i like the whole evil / depressing feel ;< all my m8s wanna go Elyos tho as the girls are "Sexyer" so im going Elyos it seems unless they change there minds ^^
