Are any other Asmodians upset by this?

the landscapes on our side is darker looking definitely, but i love them anyway. I guess it depends on what you want, cute blinding light, or scary evil darkness

I wanted to play an Asmo's but the guild I joined is playing Ely... but I loved the struggle that the Asmo's have gone through. Reminds me much of my ethnic background and my sexual prefrence .... a constant struggle to get ahead! I will be playing Ely mainly but my heart will be Asmos!

I think in games especially, people are inherently drawn to seeing "good vs. evil". Given one world is "light" and the other is "dark", it's an easy parallel to draw. As I was expecting to roll Elyos at NA launch, I've been playing C-Aion as Asmos. And, really liking it.

I have never once ever boasted that the Asmodian's are or were ugly. I find them very appealing to play. As I have stated in many places both here, on my legion thread ( that is Elyos ) and in other of my reviews, both the Elyos and the Asmodian's can be beautifully done or both can be ugly. I think the largest portion of the " hate " comes from the misunderstanding of the Asmodian's. They have a darker appearance, were cultivated under harsh conditions and ultimately evolved according to those conditions. They are a product of their environment.

Personally, I prefer the Elyos because of many reasons. I love their environment and the way things are laid out. I prefer Elyos , angelic like wings as apposed to dark feathers and I like their armor more. Now, having all that said, I don't think either or the races is better or more beautiful than the other. In my opinion it is from a lack of reading lore/misterpreting it or just plain stupidity.

On a final note, Asmodian's are not " evil. " Both races deem the other race as lesser of evil, so, I suppose the sanctity of each race is in the eyes of the beholder.

Neither race/faction is immature, it just depends on which people from the race you talk to/communicate with.
Asmo's aren't evil at all, they just changed with the environment -- which isn't 'emo' or 'depressing' -- It's just wartorn and devastated. =/
For all those who think that Asmo's are Emo, think again. =D

I think the Asmo environments are prettier than the Elyos ones, especially the sky.

And the adversity didn't make them emo, it made them strong and loyal.

Oh ya, be glad I didn't use THIS COLOR.... I think my Plum color is perfectly acceptable compared to this. ^_^

I love the colored text, blue, pink, yellow etc.....if these guys didn't change the default looks of the forum they wouldn't have a problem reading it.

Maybe I'm not normal for wanting to be an Asmo? I think the look of the Asmodians, their land, mane, pointy ears, glowy eyes, bat wings, and so on is beautiful! ^_^

The two biggest MMORPGs out there right now that specifically place you on one alliance or the other are, CoH/CoV, and WoW. I have played Heroes, Villains, Alliance and Horde extensively, and I have to tell you folks.. There are immature players on every side!
There will always be the "LOL OWNED U" jerk who kills you unfairly, and there is always the little kid who just doesn't know how to play, but likes to brag that he does.

I just wanted to see if any other Asmodians are also hurt by fellow gamers who are dying to play this game bashing us Asmos in more ways than I feel like bringing up. :[
