Remember the not-so-bright wizards of Warhammer?

This poll should not be made until players have had a chance to play this game at 50 with some decent gear. At this point ranged classes have a disproportionate advantage over other classes, making their skill cap seem much lower than they really are (thus the scoffing over Sorcs/SMs/Rangers being popular choices) - this will change immensely once the leveling rush has passed and regular endgame PvP is in full swing.
Having done the research on my class, I can testify to the fact that Sorcs have a very steep skill curve (thus the impression that all Sorcs are facerollers, because let's face it, most of them are). However, as they have an even more complicated role and multiple simultaneous priorities, I had to give my vote to the SM. If you aren't good with the class, you can join the legions of QQers, but if you are good, you make rolling opponents look easy (not to mention classy). |

Hey, I'll vouch for ranger.
What other class HAS to exploit a bug like jump shotting to validate it's own existence? Fix it, or integrate it officially...I hope they do one of these soon. |

Hardest to play seem to be the melee classes by far. In 1v1 I'd say the hardest is either chanter or gladiator. Assassins have multiple ways to reset the fight / escape and they still have fair deal of cc too - their combat-system is pretty involved though. Templar should outlast everyone else than a cleric. The classes given the least are the ones that require the most to be good. Last edited by Kapla; 10-09-2009 at 05:06 AM.. |

Actually, you're wrong. Having lots of options to your disposal with either shared cooldowns or differential situation changing abilities - that makes a class very complex to play. Just because you're melee and are being locked down by kiters doesn't mean it's hard to play, it just means that you drew the short stick againt your opponent's class. Most classes with low hp that dies easily are generally considered to be hard to play. The skill cap increases the more tools you have compared to how long you can survive a mistake. An unexperienced clothie (for example) will live about 0.5 seconds against an experienced player. An unexperienced glad, templar or cleric can survive quite some time and do several mistakes without watching the death animation. But with that said, I'm not putting one class above another in terms of hard to play. Just stating an example of how wrong you are when you say that a class is easy to play because it can kite. |

everyone thinks their class is the hardest because they suck at it and other classes who beat you look like they have it easy and are overpowered.
