They are actually racist and discriminating the small folks. If you cant see the racism youn need to broaden your horizont a little beyond ethnic racism.
I dont need prepatory remarks for any of my statements though (which none of it really was in any way) . If I feel like it I just throw them in there.
It's called a personal preference. Not being racist, or discriminating in any fashion. Are the small characters not allowed to do certain things in-game? Are they limited in any capacity other then looks? I don't believe so. Correct me if I'm wrong but, it seems your translation of discrimination is a little warped.

Learn. I won't alter the way I speak or type for you. Sorry.

People like you are just annoying at best. I had already given you the benefit of the doubt that you are/were good at PvP. And this is the response you give? I'd comment about a humble approach, but it appears I would only be giving in to a troll (moreso then I already have). So I'll gracefully bow out.

In other news: short toons. crazy huh?

Think the word he's looking for is stereotyping. Since most haters are generalizing anyone playing a small characters are 'LULZ S/HE MADE A MIDGET CUZ THEY SUCK BALLS AT PVP.' Yeah, because there's no such thing as preference.

well, i just imagine a HUGE GIANT assassin vs tiny assassin ganking a person. right when the huge giant assassin come out of hide, you're gonna definitely notice the guy and make a run for it. tiny assassin, you'll probably be hit 2, 3 times before you realize you're being hit.

some people are clueless

It's not hard to understand that when implying the advantages of a smaller toon, it is assumed said toon is out of tab range and/or not clustered within 20 players.

I think alot of people just hate small chars, but there is an advantage, and anyone who pvps often can see it. You can't always tab target, sometimes you just have to click, and it IS harder to click a smaller target. In a mass zerg it's also harder to identify smaller targets.

I call BS on people saying there is no advantage. Having played a small char, and fought against them I beleive there to be a small advantage in certain circumstances for certain classes. For a templar etc, there might be certain disadvantages to being small, but for a ranger, which I am, I can't think of any negatives. I've made my char to look like a halfling nearly, it looks pretty cool imo.

Nope, doesn't make a damn bit of difference. I actually tend to notice them more easily since they're so annoying. And also, they aren't any harder to click on. I can click target and tab target them just fine, but click targeting might be a little faster.

If you chose it for a PvP advantage, well, you ain't getting one. If you chose it because you like it... you're strange, but more power to you. I do like some of the short characters that are correctly proportioned, though that's rare.

Because you aren't going to notice Soldier, Rank # CharacterName along with your dropping health ...
ohwait

Seriously, if you are in a 'closest tab get's zerged' situation it's not going to help you.
If you are in a 'priority target gets zerged' situation, it's not going to help you.
1V1, a slight hit box difference might help you slightly if things are otherwise equal, but things are honestly very very rarely 1V1 (not to mention otherwise equal).
If they are better than you, or equal in skill but far outgear (or outlevel) you, looking like a farmbot isn't going to help you.

I was the sole survivor of a rift group last night because i was short enough to hide behind a mushroom.

Sure you might have a big red name but still a smaller char. is less to see and if you know how to use the terrain to your advantage you are much more stealthy either for ganking or running *** away.
As for targeting, tab target has a bad habit of going to mobs or other PCs. So if I can force someone into using it and give myself the first shot it could be the difference between life and death. Which in a game with death penalties any advantage at all will be taken by people who play to win.

I'm sure your rift mates thought of you as a real hero, and respect you for it. So whilst they all rez at a kisk, you are left alone in the middle of enemy territory either waiting for the enemy to clear off or wait for your group members to rescue your tiny ***. Dapper tactics, mate.

How can you hide behind a mushroom with a gi-nyerking-gantic red name tag above your head?

I'm a little bit shorter than standard 'petite' in char creation, compared to max-size characters I look silly, compared to normal-size characters I look short, compared to the real midgets I look huge.
I guess I could have a theoretical pvp advantage against those who don't like killing young teenage girls. Full chain armor and a mean looking mace should nullify that advantage though.

I'm small enough to have fast paced legs, it makes me feel like I'm running faster and thus makes traveling less unbearable.
I'm afraid what'll happen with Celerity Mantra + Speed boots - I didn't think about them when I decided to be short.

Going back to my EQ1 days I always like playing my character shrank down. I played a barb rogue and had a mask of tinkering that would you turn you into a gnome. Besides about 8 mask I used to carry around to change me into other races. But the gnome mask and the shrinking wand that was rare drop was high sought after items. Everyone loved them, later on they made it possible to make shrink potions through alchemy. Wow had the world enlarger and other pots that can shrink you. All that said my characters in aion aren’t the super tiny size but are on the short end. I just think it can be a tad harder to see around your area when you make your character super small.
