Asmodians made an attempt on Asteria, even with all the top legions and Imitatio Dei, we still couldn't put a dent on the Deity General. Lol, we're going to need lots of level 50s for the upper abyss forts.

All the asmos complain that elyos has easier levelling or something lol. Mainly because their orange weapon quest is level 43 instead of 41. But they never look at every aspect.... QQ more imo

For some reason that is how it is on the lumiel server as well.. Some of the top asmo guilds claim its because their focusing on leveling up, yet their levels are no better off then the top Elyos guilds who have beaten them in every category.

Wouldnt you want a server where things change hands all the time and are pretty even? Triniel is like that.

I have some Lumiel characters. I almost felt I had to kidnap asmo players to get them to the lower abyss...unless they were enemy Elyos.I think it speaks to peoples gank experiences early on in the abyss...and decision to just pve. For me it just reinforces my arguments to have rvr start after ascension in designated rvr areas for levels 10-14....14-19 etc etc. So rvr is experienced early, often and without high level gankers creating such negative experiences people won't rvr.....which after all is the focus of the game.If all you want to do is pve..there are dozens of games ...many ftp.

Zikel is in a weird state. I wouldn't say it's dominated by Elyos, as there are roughly an equal amount of geared Asmodians at 40+. Yet Elyos are generally more active in the Abyss and muster the bigger zergs by far, due in large part to the presence of several unrepentant zerg guilds, while Asmodians are more apathetic and loath to cooperate with each other, and are splintered into numerous smaller guilds.

The Zikel Elyos had the initial upper hand in the Abyss, and seem to have kept the momentum rolling since launch. Things are evening out now. Hopefully it results in a constant struggle for dominance and whittles down the zerg guilds.

Yeah but the asmos reign supreme. The lower abyss changes hands but sometimes, the amount of elyos that show up is depressing. We have legions that still care about abyss pvp, but the rest of the elyos? Meh, they dont care :/.

I suspect that's because the huge amount of enormous Asmo ganking parties roaming around put off a lot of level 25-35 (where I do believe most of the initial big wave of folks is) Elyos off the Abyss. I've heard a lot of people just blow it off until they're of a level to not explode on contact...

...with a 20+ mob. Which may or may not be anything from 25 to 40+.

At least, that's been the case for most of the folks I've talked to; that may not be a representative sample, I dunno. I personally decided to hold off until I hit the 30s just because I got tired of being mobbed as soon as I stepped off the starting point, whether I was solo or in a group. That simply wasn't fun, and it's not even like the amount of points I gave them was that much.
