Wel my beta has worked fine it started after i patched it to 1.5 so wen i press it it comes up whit the cheking for updates box and wen its done whit that were laucnher is supose to pop it doset if that makes sense


even over writed the launcer .exe whit one that works fine on my mate pc but stil same

Ok, what method of patching did you use to update the game client to version 1.5.0?

Also, can you please paste into your reply the last few lines of the file "C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Launcher\NCApplicationLog.log" ?

Only a small group of people who have an older verion and haven't updated Vista will have problems. There may be gliches or minor things I haven't seen/heard about, but with the above file, you can at least run Aion.

Win 7 is an entirely different beast, and there are lots of problems with that OS. I'm not capable of solving issues with it though, as the compatability issues are WAY over my head.

Well actually that what i thought.
incadently my down load speed has increased @ 150 Ks / sec off the file planet down load now, for me down load speeds vary drastically from 350 to like 10 kbs/sec

i used the laouncher one wen that worked wen that was done it stoped working i did the one from fileplanet

C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Launcher\nclauncher

i started down loading at 8.10 am and its just finnished right this min, i had a slow speed to start with though

Ok, matey can you please paste into your reply the last few lines within the file "C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Launcher\NCApplicationLog.log". You'll need to open this file (with Wordpad or something) then scroll down and select the last few lines within it. Come back to this thread and paste the lines in here.

is the log file if thtas what ya asking it is making a new one each time i try loaucnh it

Yeah it's meant to create a new log file each time you launch the NCSoft Launcher. Those were the right lines from the file but I'm not seeing any signs of errors or issues registered in the log file. The curious thing is that your Launcher worked before you say you applied the patch from 1.0.2 to 1.5.0 so this seems very odd. Also you are running Windows XP so it is less likely to be an operating system issue.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that you try disabling all startup items to ensure that no background programs or processes are preventing the launcher from initialising. Instructions from NCSoft Technical Support can be found -->here.

If that doesn't work then I'm quite stumped about your issue. I think your best bet would be to contact the technical support guys and ask them for help with it.

wel i did that and wel i got blu screen of death taking me this long get back on the net! wel im gona reformat pc now and get a fresh download !;D but thx any ways bro

Bloody hell. It sounds to me like your Windows Installation is a bit shagged my friend. I think a repair or a reinstall is your next step, it doesn't sound at all stable. Best of luck with it and feel free to ask for more help if you get stuck

Hey guys, sorry to jump into your conversation but, im playing with the NA client and have been getting the "Unable to connect to the Authorization Server" message. My question is, is this what is supposed to happen currently since the beta is not up? I have read on numerous threads that you should be able to get to the character creation screen at the very least. I have read most of these threads and have not gotten a definite answer on this and its driving me a little mad. Thanks for any help and good luck on your computer issues!

No, you definately shouldn't be able to get to the character creation screen. You should only be able to get as far as the login screen (if anything) while the servers are offline.

There will be no more closed beta's. There will only be an open beta on 6-13 September followed by the headstart on 20 September, then the launch on 22 September for NA and 25 September for EU.
