I return to make a last answer, hopefully.
For now, I have re-installed Aion and got DirectX:ses, and .net installed, and it seems, I do not atleast get a 114 error anymore. I get "cannot contact patch server error", but I hope, this is just a normal error, and I should not be worried anymore, but be happy I am this far?

Oh that's wonderful! I'm so pleased Skiro, well done! Can you check the properties of your local game client and tell me what version it says it is? (there may be some other steps you need to do) The error about not being able to contact the patch server isn't you, actually the patch server has been on the fritz all afternoon. It seems to come and go though so hang in there

Ah surely, the version is at 1.5.9.1, it seems. Launcher atleast. Hopefully I am no longer in need to built a bridge over deep rivers.. :P

Edit: Oh dear.. it is downloading and installing gameguard now.. we shall see what happens in few moments.

Edit 2: oh well, no more "114" error, now I get "This service is unavailable in your country", what ever that means then..

It sounds to me like you've solved your Gameguard issue and your game client is totally up to date so you should be ready to go for the Beta. As for the "unavailable in your country" thing, I have seen a handful of other people get this problem but apparently it comes and goes. I think this is a geniune bug that NCSoft need to correct, it's certainly nothing you are doing wrong if you have your region set to "Europe" in the Launcher. Does it let you carry on and load the game?

Well, fun fact. It keeps downloading a new file for GameGuard every try, either a .mon one, or a .npz one. Right now, it's getting ggscan.npz as a 1/1 file. Every start, a new file, or the same file again. And always the same error, "not in your country mister!"

I've left it now to load for a while on my screen, and apparently, it is not going forward atleast.. so, I would say, it is not letting me load the game itself, but stops me with the error.

Gameguard always updates itself when you initialise, it's normal. It seems like it downloads the same files each time it loads (probably to make sure you haven't replaced some of them with your own hacked apart copies lol) but it's all normal stuff.

The only issue you need to be concerned with is the error saying "not in your country". In particular I know someone from Sweden was having this same issue and I told them to immediately raise it with NCSoft to make sure there isn't an accidental IP ban in place, so I suggest you do the same. To speed things up with them I suggest you follow the last question on the FAQ page.

So.. maybe I'm the only one still having issues but I figured it would be worth asking.

Has anyone had this pop up AFTER installing the patch?

"NC SOFT Launcher Update Error
Error Code: 5"

Maybe I'm just a tard and this is what should happen until OP is .. well.. Open. ? I feel like I'm getting paranoid over nothing, but I just wanna be prepared.

I haven't encountered that error with the launcher myself, can you supply a pic of it?

For some reason my NC Launcher would pop up error 5 and then disappear for a few minutes and reappear. The launcher would then close out completely with an unfinished update, and without getting to the "launcher" screen to check the version in my game properties option.

After several attempts and trying to open the game, the updated managed to find whatever it was looking for and finished the update. My game is set to go! I'm not sure what caused the error, but if it happens, just be patient. After an hour, if your game launch screen hasn't popped up, try re-opening your client again, rinse and repeat several times until it updates everything.

Just an FYI from someone named painhammer.

Thank you for the update.

Currently when launching the updated version of the Aion client a website is popping up each time that refers to "Error code 124, 153".

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. In the meantime please disregard this webpage and do not reinstall the game. We just need to wait for a new patch to resolve the issue.

i have a question though - if my c drive is full, but my d drive is practically empty, how do i install aion into my d drive? i mean... when i press download, it doesn't ask me where i want to install it, i just trys to install into my c drive then says i have no space -.-
