When can we change servers?

Only thing we have is this article where they mention having server transfers "to select servers" (i.e. the server you want might not be an option) next month: Aion™ Online :: Notices - Lance Stites Talks About the State of Aion Today
Don't think we have anything more definite currently.

Yep, basically the only date is, sometime in November. Since they said it would come "next month" on Oct 2nd.

I'm guessing they will wait till the end of the month, if they dont push it back. As they need to get a more accurate count of subscribers vs potential cancellations, so they will know if more servers are needed before they offer a transfer service, so as not to get stuck having to immediately do it again, should they decide afterwards to open up another server.

Do you folks think they will open a new server(s)? I have stopped playing for the most part in anticipation of new servers this month. Many rumor bugs/trolls saying there on the way so I felt I'd get some more RL done while waiting. It seemed like Lances post just skipped around the whole idea.

Well there wouldn't be any calling for any new servers. They opened a couple new ones a week after launch to help spread out the population and reduce queues. Since they have now passed the non-paying mark after launch, they have even less population now (happens naturally when people get to the point where they have to pay to continue). When your populations are "ok", medium, or even low, the last thing you want to do is open a new server and spread out the population even thinner.
Why would you stop playing until they add more new servers this early? The game is a little over a month old, all servers are still new really.

@ Saraphin, TBH I got pulled out of state for RL work and most of my fellow legion m8's out leveled me and left so we closed down the legion. then when I heard new servers were to open in November (this ofc could be the work of trolls) I just never committed again. I have played a bit hear and there but just felt I would be wasting my time if I had a new server to start fresh on within 2 weeks.

This is why I have been asking about it. I do check the servers daily and notice that only the oceanic hits full status, but I had also thought they increased the server pop caps by 25% due to the overwhelming amount of folks joining. Anyhoo makes perfect sense just was hoping for the option to start on a brand spanking new server.
