What class for me?

Hello guys and girls.

I have a question that may not be so easy to answer perhaps. What i want to know is what class do you consider, heard of,feel and think is the easiest class to play?

I don't have much time and i am lazy to. I want a class that takes the least thinking and the least skill and key strokes to play well.
You could say - What's the easiest class to do well in without making an effort?

I hope you can answer objectively and don't just bash you most hated enemy's class or favour your own O_0

Thank you.

All classes are really the same, My suggestion is to narrow it down to a couple classes you really like the looks of, play each to 15 and decide then.

criteria for choosing a class is pretty simple

- some people can't stand melee, others love it, what do you prefer?

- Do you like playing a specific role? (healing, tanking, DPS?)

- do you mind downtime?

questions like these can help you narrow it down. It's hardly fun to play a class you can't stand just because it's easy.

Lets rule out three classes. Assasin, templar and cleric.

Ranger, sorc or spiritmaster would be the easiest classes for solo leveling. Go glad if you wanna be semi-good at dps and semi-good at tanking. Glads are 'meh' until they reach 50 and get +19% attackspeed weapons.

Assasin is probably the hardest class to play really well in this game.

I kind of disagree. Ranger, sorc & spirit master do not have heals and need to kite. If you like to heal groups or even yourself, a chanter might be the easiest class to solo with in my opinion. You can also stand in the same spot tapping different keys and tanking enemy blows while drinking beers.

I've played every melee class at least to the Abyss and don't understand why people think assassin is the most difficult to play well. For example, how does DPSing a single target and keeping it stun-locked more difficult than watching all enemy aggro, pulling all aggro, interrupting big hits and keeping yourself alive when the healer is getting overwhelmed = easier than playing a sin? What exactly in an assassin's weakness besides being squishy makes it so tough for people?

Legit question, not a flame at all. I loved all of the melee classes but seriously wonder about where these opinions come from. Its like 1 person found out that playing sin was a challenge, posted it on forums, and then all of a sudden *WHOOSH* Sin = The MOST difficult class to play in Aion.

Every class is a general challenge to play well in the right situations, and that's the entire point of having different classes that do entirely different things. So ultimately, take Iggy_Ride's advice and good luck ajcb!

Id say a Gladiator, to play is easy:

Place head (hard) Onto keyboard, up and down back again.
Rawr as you hit the keyboard with your forehead.
Repeat until target is dead.

easy

I think you want a SM.

Kiting elites takes some skill and attention but once you have Earth SPirit you can sned in your pet and just have it tank while you dot.

Spiritmaster, Sorceror, or Gladiator seems about right for you.

If you like pets and decent dmg = Spirimaster.

Damage(competitive with the assassin) and CC = Sorcerer.

Damage and nice burst = Gladiator.

Would be easy to first decide whether or not you prefer ranged or melee combat and narrow it down.
