Extremely high ping after 1.5.1.4
Hi Folks
The day after this patch arrived I was playing just like normal. The game worked as it usually does with out any complications. Suddenly I begin having very high latency 1500~2000. At this ping game becomes unplayable. Tried to apply the leatrix fix however it made no difference, as expected since it is merely a tweak and what I seem to experience is a serious problem. So my question is has anyone else experienced this? If so are there any known solutions? Brief spec summary i7 PC, HD4870, Onboard Realtek NIC, Win7 x64 |

Same problem here. 10+ secs delay on everything and rubberbanding all over the place.
PS. Reinstalled Leatrix, did the repair option in the NC Launcher, nothing has helped. __________________ Some of you may die, but that is a risk I am willing to take ![]() |

I'm having the exact same issue. First day after the last patch I had no problems. The following night I participated in a siege, and afterwards I've been suffering from a ping of around 1500-1700 ms. I've rolled back my system settings several weeks, reinstalled the client, but the lag remains.

I don't know what the problem is. I have made no changes recently on my end. I have no problem running any other applications whatsoever. And the game ran perfectly up until this crap started. Im just so sick of it. There is absolutely zero technical support to be had for this title it seems.

Have done that but it did not work.
------------------------- The fault of people high ping is this server dtag-ham.peering.cogentco.com (as people may have found out by there self) who is located in germany. I called them and ask what the f**k is the problem. The answer i got was that the server was full and the result was high ping, but they was working on it, they believe that it should be done to fix the problem late this week. ![]() So it was not NCsoft fault, (surprised i was). If you want to play aion with low ping, use another isp that not use congentco or wait til cogentco have fix the problem. Last edited by weritye; 11-25-2009 at 09:38 AM..
