One question:
Since one basic move is to cancel eye of attack in certain situations - is it possible to build a macro for this action?
Its pretty annoying to cancel and cofirm buffs manually...

Eye of Swiftness, not Eye of Attack. But I'm looking into that remove buff macro, I'd wanna know too. Theres already an armor swapper macro, so I dont see why there isn't a remove buff macro.

what? they are going to lower pvp damage by 40%? but how can rangers kill now?i understand the fact they are scouts so its normal to unleash lots of damage quickly...but if u fail u are in trouble! i thought that was the propose of the ranger...if the damage will be lowered 40% what is going to happen to ranger?lolol they will need to jump around not only some fights but all of them!LOL Templars with high defense will have a lot of advantage being almost impossible to kill them no?

+the godstone we should use;
+the profession most fit to a ranger;
+we know pvp but what about pvp in group/mass pvp what should we do to help our team? tactics and stuff;
+stigmas list from rangers- i only know 4! (btw in lvl 50 we can use 3 or 5 stigmas?)
+i am going to ask too about the stats! its being lots of contradictory for what i have read!
-some say everything until 440 critical and then all in attack power
-some say 60atack/40% will give less critical but u will get the highest dps!
-some say u will not go far in pvp if u don't have HP and evasion!
-Some even say attack speed makes the difference (but i don't know if it exist this manastones!), even then i don't think its more important that crit or attack because u will want to use only 5 skills in the burst, so u want the the most strong as possible, right?
Do u know some post or player lvl 50 that can answer the best stats to use and own in pvp?

Rangers do not aim to kill Templars. They try to avoid.


- Godstones for any weapon-focused (martial) classes would be paralysis. Though they tend to be VERY expensive, so go silence if you cannot afford. Martial classes do not bother with the +damage godstones since they do not have a lot of magical boosting power.
- Profession most fit would be alchemy/cooking (for any class) or sewing (once the economy settles in)
- in Party PvP, just snare running targets and CC in Party vs Party, help your team spike someone down or annihilate Sorcerers. Stay out of their ranged classes range, as you are low hp and is usually a priority target.
- Stigmas... Sleep Arrow, Silence Arrow (MUST), Consiad Arrow (or Griffonix Arrow), Eye of Attack (MUST), Eye of Swiftness, or Resolution of Resistance (I'd go with Sleep Arrow instead of this one) only at lvl 50 will you be able to use 5, but 8 if you count in the 3 Advanced Stigma slots added in 1.5 Patch
- what stats do u mean?
- 400 to 450 Critical anywhere in that range.
- 60/40 hmm... Theres alot of opinions among everyone regarding the ratio, its upto you to figure out. An official experiment did say for TEMPLARs that putting only 200-ish crit and rest into attack got them more DPS, but I for one do not agree with the official experiment
- HP and Evasion set switching is very helpful, but do make sure you have lots of very high lvl unique gear that adds lots of HP to you
- ASPD is VERY important. But do you not increase this with manastones. There is a +50% ASPD cap set in game mechanics, and this can be achieved through various ways - skills, scrolls, bonus from unique (or daevanion) weapons/gloves.
- Yes. YaN from Hellbound (you can find him around here if you lurk on this forum for long enough or just go to hellbound forums) is a lvl 50 Ranger at K-Aion. Just tell him TTB kicks his *** anyday.

why is it better to go for those 2? are they more profitable? as a ranger shoulnt igo for handcraft?
so i need to have different sets of equipment in my inventory one with crit crit crit!LOL and other with hp and evasion?and can i change it that quickly with the macros?

40% pvp global dmg redux shouldn't affect you alot if you got good weapons and timing

And those two professions are consumable professions. Consumables from those two professions are used every day by everyone.
Uhh... yeah you can switch sets quickly with macros, but getting two pvp sets will be very hard.

thanks for the info, I really like the player tips part, but I don't think that if you don't get off the kill you lose, I have survived in pvp without the burst of combos killing off my opponents. But I still think this is a very useful guide.

Im sure plenty of better ones will surface soon, personally I think rangers are much much more capable then what this walk-through suggests. I do think they need work though, in the trap department definately.
