I believe they could be more popular. The problem is that all the ranger vids look like crap. Their solo exp is boring like hell, and their damage during PvP compared to the other classes is kinda low. At this point, people rely a lot on those movies to pick their character, and that's why I think this class is being kinda under-rated.

However, if the ranger turns out to be like Hawkeyes in L2, you'll see the server rerolling into range classes. I really hated how L2 PvP was all about archers and you couldn't see 1 single melee class in mass PvPs. Probably NCsoft learned the lesson and made Rangers pay for what they've done back in Lineage.

I dont think ranger looked that bad in the class video, I thought the pheonix was awsome. Only thing with rangers though they normally seem to be allrounder classes.

Rangers will be freakin leet. That was my first choice, but I play ranger is all my games, so I wanted a change.

I was very into the ranger for a while but I think I'll be doing sorc instead. Some of the skills I saw in the hd class videos were pretty cool(the phoenix one most notably). But I'll give it some more time, there will be a lot of interesting stuff happening in the next few months.

I will play a Ranger even if they are "gimp" because I plan on playing for fun not for just a "one button win" in PvP like most people will be playng Assasin for.

many korean beta testers recommanded to use dagger til lvl 16 because bow does ****ty dmg on low lvl. after lvl 16 they get decent skills to do some dmg with bow.

i am still undecided to go gladiator or archer.

I am usually close ranged combat i am extremely excited for ranged battle in flight, i feel i will capture the most from aion with this play style.

i have a question. rangers can attack while their are flying?? bcuz if it`s true their really going to have more advantage in PvPs and PvE

always play support/tank in the mmos ive played sofar, ranger will be a nice change. Just hope they have some kind of sniper skill so i can gank the lowbi... ehrm i mean do great pvp versus the dreaded elyos!
