So, how many people are playing Ranger?

After looking at CBT2 class videos I was really tempted to roll a ranger, but looking at actual in game footage I'm starting to have second thoughts. All that hopping around looks really tedious so far D8;
I'm still curious though. Maybe I'll make an alt. xD

Just wondering why your choice is ranger at release? Do you like what you see in the beta right now and see their potential? Or you just wanted to try out other classes first and save rangers till last?

I think the bunny hopping thing was because she was taking down a boss or named monster that was way too strong for her level. If you noticed in the video one hit was like 1/4 of her life. That's mega! No wonder she was gappin' it hard core xD

I can already sense that Rangers are going to be defined in one aspect as bunny hoppers xD; BUT, still very tempting. 8'(
I'm usually more attracted to the massive DPS classes but Ranger's sexiness may be too much to bear ...

I've always loved ranged classes
At WoW hunter was overpowered and overrated but when Blizz noticed they removed all the fun things like "Shadowmelding and use aimed shot" from nightelfs.
I hope this game allows you to "Kite" (run from the monster and keep shooting it to kill it) because thats the fun part of a ranged class ^.^

As of the moment I'm leaning toward Ranger, and probably an Assassin alt. I played Hunter for ages on WoW, and my favorite twink was my Rogue, so it only makes sense for me to at least try and copy that here.

I always loved Ranger on FFXI as well, but I was too lazy to constantly craft to afford it, yet for some reason played Ninja a lot. Ranger looks much better on Aion, anyway.

I think my main will be a ranger. I suspect from the videos I've seen and comments from testers it will be similar to perfect world. Archers at low level do poor damage and really suck, but if you stick with you will rewarded later. By level 30 my archer became a killing machine and awesome for pking. Nothing like sniping an unsuspecting victim and watching them die before they know what hit them.
