Counter to flying Archer?

Ok, so I saw this pvp video where this archer just pops his wings, and starts shooting down on his enemies... and they just stood there taking hits. What is the counter for this, if say, your fly timer isnt up? Obviously this is worse for gladiator/templar than it is for say, Chanter or Sorcerer, but come on, there has gotta be some counter for this!

Although sadly, they can fly faster than you can run. So your doomed.

counter for this is...stigma with bow mastery(it will be my first stigma for sure

)

Ahh, very good call... Forgot about the stigma system entirely. I suppose if your skilled or just own one hefty hitting Bow and some Continuos Dmg Arrows, i suppose you may be able to hold your own as a Templar or Gladiator, due to Def. Buffs and excess HP...

I think the situation included a countdown timer for flying that hasen't finished... therefore you can't fly yet?

Yes, but they are talking about if the timer (cooldown for any WoW people that insist on WoW terms) was down. I'm not sure on length of timer between flights but it is there.

Personally, I would say that anyone in that situation better go as defensive as possible and hope for ranger's flight time to hit 0 or that they get reinforcements that can destroy rangers or can keep them alive till the ranger falls to Earth (should insert name for Aion world in place of Earth but I forgot what is was called).
