[Poll] Stealth Vs. Faster Movement Speed.

As most of you know, most MMORPG's these days incorporate skills for Rangers that allow either invisibility (stealth), faster movement speed, or both. So i was interested to know which one you would prefer if you were only allowed one.

Personally i prefer skills that boost movement speed, as they come in handy in PvP and in Travel. But i also see the added benefits of being able to stealth as a ranger in PvP situations. On the otherhand PvE'ers would have no real use of stealthmode other than to prevent being ganked while AFK in the Abyss. Plus theres the good chance that movement speed or stealth can be gained through buffs from other classes..

What do you guys prefer and why?

Aion's ranger seems different from the classic MMORPG Ranger, so I'd go with Stealth... I think ._.

Speed all the way. Allows better kiting and faster movement in general. ;P

I'm assuming that if you chose a ranger, you'd get something a little different from the skills of an assassin. Since assassins will seem to have a natural attack speed to them and stealth...cause come on guys, they're assassins. It makes sense that rangers will have increased movement speed. But if I were to choose specifically, I would pick speed.

Yea, I'm also for stealth, but not so complex as for the assassin.

it's kinda a hard decision, but id go for faster movement speed since stealth would take assasins their unique ability

i would take movement speed largely because if i can sneak up behind you using the environment and NO stealth and still not have u see me coming, thats just gold right there ^_^

Meh, I was thinking that, but I dunno, from what I've heard of the Ranger in Aion, melee is actually useful...

My concept of a Ranger -- influenced by Guild Wars -- is one with faster movement speed rather than invisibility/stealth. Heck, there's no such thing as going invisible in Guild Wars.

After playing AoC for a bit, a ranger with stealth just seems so OP. As much fun as it would be for a ranged class to have stealth nothing good really comes from it. my vote is for faster run speed.

Speed for Ranger, but if they allow stealth, camouflage at most. Where you can't move while stealth.

depends if they have speed boosters such as boots that have a speed boost to them, like EQ1 they have JBoots, just click them and you had a speed boost buff. or some sort of mount coming out at some point in time. If there are other ways in the game that increase your speed then id just go with stealth, if not then i think id lean towards speed.

Wrong. Just wrong.

Melee side of Ranger is to finish targets fast if they come too close. If as a ranger, you can't finish a target or make it innofensive, then you fail as a Ranger. :P
