Read his post again.
Rangers get easier at 16 (plan on switching bow/melee) and even easier at 19. Sins take a little longer to get going. All classes have a level range where they are slow going. The scout classes just hit it earlier then others. __________________ Why did the chicken cross the road? Ernest Hemingway: To die. In the rain. Alone. |

Scout require you to do about 3 different "moves" in less than 1,5 seconde to be really effective. They are class forbiden for the mouse clicker, you really need your 2 hands to play them. One hand on the mouse and the second on the keyboard. And you need to think quick about what you want to do.
All class becommes like that when you play them well in PVP. But the things with the scout it's they can't really be played at noob lvl. IF you don't do that you are dead. A "bad" player on the other class will nevers be good, but he can still have fun, beceause the others class are more forgiving at low level of skill. Even if you play them bad you can still do something, nothing great, but still good enought to have fun. With scout if you are bad you are all the time dead. They don't forgive anything. OF course playing really well any class is as much difficult, but the entry lvl for "player skill" for scout his higher, but don't be mistaken all class are at the same difficultie to be used to their fullest capacity. It's just that the scout at the "lowest capacity of the player" is the worst class by far, and at the "max capacity of the player" they don't seem more powerfull than the others class played "at max capacity". assassin and ranger not necessary harder just more involed, keying and clicking. got to move alot, but ur more intune w/your charater. plant a seed ,shoot and melee keeps it interesting. some say harder because it takes more involement, or they just dont want to keep there fingers busy. i find most enjoyable, ranger it will be. try'em all

Well let's play a game of order of elimination to find out. I consider a class that you can pretty much just press buttons without much thought and suddenly find yourself at endgame to be the epitome of easy and the closest to that would be the Chanter. Not much skill required, hell all you have to do is keep the party within a fairly large radius and that's 60% of your usefullness. Now working up from there I'd have to say templar because it can help heal itself and it's mostly just a meat shield between the squishy targets and the hostiles. Then there's the Gladiator who's sole occupation is Devil May Cry style button mashing but it can't heal itself which requires a touch of knowing when to quit. Then we have the blast master Sorcerors who get to sit in the Sky Box seats yet still be the main event on the front lines with their mind numbing spike damage. Then you've got the Spirit Master who's gotta do a lot of "duck, duck, goose" styled running around their pet interrupted by moments of casting. Then there's your ranger who gets to give the hostiles a shaft they won't soon forget, but from the login screen they spend pretty much the entire time moving to advoid damage; I call it the "WASD Armor Class". Then there's your assassin who doesn't have the privilage (or the good sense) to keep his distance from a target. The concept of suprise attacking then running away takes a lot of patience that some (me included) don't have. Last but not least is the glue of the whole damn organization without which you likely wouldn't have partied up with CoolDude37 or SexyGurl88... but they've got a Cleric >.< Yes I must say that eventhough I too think it's BS, the cleric requires the most skill to use. Now a good party might make it easy on you, but an even better hostile party can make it real hard real quick. So in conclusion the most skilled to the least skilled classes are as follows imho:

Spiritmaster I think. It takes extra effort to control the pet well.

I think this question (which people love to ask) is answerable in two ways. Do you want to know which class is hardest to getting a "passing" grade, or which is hardest to truly excel at? Obviously, the answer to either varies on whether you mean PvE or PvP, and also in-group or solo. Gladiator is pretty ez mode in PvE, almost to the point of monotony, but in PvP, especially solo PvP, it is a major challenge. Ranger, the other class I played extensively in Beta, was monotonous in PvE as well, but mandated more interaction. PvP was a bit duller, but punctuated with "oh sh*t!" moments of excitement when nasty melee classes got too close. But, thankfully, NCsoft doesn't seem to listen to "zomg, class X always beats me in duels, nerf them or buff me!" I think the best answer to the OP would be play what class you like, and strive to be the absolute best at it.
