lvling wize, ranger is the hardest to lvl. but who cares about lvling really ?
End game skill wize cleric takes the most focus and concentration you are also under the most pressure as one of the 4/5 clerics in a 24 man alliance ( PvP raid) and also in small 3v3 or 6v6 group fights, your groups clerics really decide it for you, they are the backbone and life sorce of every group, and everyone rely's on the cleric to keep them alive and instantly clense debuffs. that class by far takes the most management to play it at its best. i love gladiator kiting templars and not being kited by rangers can be quite challanging but the cleric needs to be aware of every thing thats going on around it at all times who in your grp is about to start taking damage when and on who to best use its stuns and how to avoid the whole of the other faction from killing you. ------------------------- The only game's were the healers do not need the highest ammount of skill needed are games that allow healers to simply spamm AOE heals, evan then there still normaly the No.1 target for dps to bring down first, making there role far harder than any other. Funny how the majority of people who come here and say Ranger/Sin all have them classes as their class decission lol.
All classes are easy imo, but if anything the Clerics will be the hardest with the amount they have to put up with. Any class can be played good or bad. Enough of the bs already. ![]() |

**** stops dying in 3 hits around level 5. No bias intended, I find any class with low survivability is just naturally harder to play with because they are less beginner friendly. If I screw up on my sorc even in simple PvE and get hit once or twice it hurts like ****. I wont necessarily die, but its quite likely I'll have to retreat. A Gladiator or Templar can feasibly tank the add ons and kill all 3 of the things they're fighting. While sorcs and rangers have some CC, if you get ambushed and hit it hurts. That being said, I think Sorcs and Rangers are harder to play, followed by Sins and SM's. Chanters and Clerics, Templars and Gladiators in that order. |

I think the 2 scout classes are the 2 hardest to play, and I think Sin is harder than Ranger for the average player. It's less forgiving of mistakes and requires you to take bigger risks. A ranger who wanted to would almost never die in PvP. He might not get much AP, but he can be effective staying 25m away at all times. A sin just can't do that, they have to get close to be effective. So the average sin has to do more work per kill than the average ranger. That being said, I think it's different at the highest levels of each class. That's where AP/hour comes into play and a good sin can take things apart faster than a ranger can. So to be among the highest ranks on the server, a ranger will have to work harder.

A lot of people say Sorcs are "easy", but while a class may be simplistic to operate on a basic level, it doesn't mean it's easy to do well with it in PvP. You're squishy as hell, and you need to react quickly if you don't want to get one-chained. Easy to play, crucial to master.
Rangers, not quite as simple to operate, but you don't really to master it to do well. Owns face when mastered, however! Therefore, with skill being a requirement, I'd put Sorc over Ranger. SM may take the cake though, as it's more complicated than a Sorc and it'll require a high level of mastery to achieve with. |

Endgame pvp/e is SM considering pets can't fly, high magic resists and pets aggroing **** mean u have to be on your toes and kite.
Rangers are up there too, imo, since any class which is forced to kite just to stand a chance of winning, is a class which has room for skill to shine (this might not mean it's the hardest, but if you're good it will be clear). __________________ Trample the weak... hurdle the dead. |

Sin and Ranger both look to be very complex.
For group PVP, I would vote Sin. Experience tells me that having to stay in mele in any game with CC will be difficult and require more skill and patience than bombing from a distance. |

Cleric/Chanters, not because of their skills or mechanics but rather because they're the only classes that have to do their job while being constantly focus fired by a half dozen other players.
