Ranger or Assassin - Page 5

Although many people are talking about their WoW Rogues and all that. I personally preferred the Hunter, simply for the fact that they were much more enjoyable to level and Solo PvP with in my opinion. Rogues and Hunters were my key class in WoW; however, from what I have seen from the trailers the Assassin seems much more versatile than the Ranger at this point, that and I doubt the Ranger will have pets, which was one of the best parts of being a Hunter. I wasn't all about the stand away and shoot, but I really did enjoy the fact that you could have your pet tear stuff apart while all you had to do was Kite, and you could stay aware of your surroundings. It seems to me that Rangers will not enjoy their WoW counterpart luxuries, so I will take up the roll of Assassin. I'm sorry if this bored you, but you chose to read it. I hope I have shed some light on this for those of you undecided.

I had fun with my pet in WoW too, Eyes of the Hunter was so much fun.

I will definitely miss the days of having a Hunter Pet, but as soon as this releases, I'll have to say bye to PoopyKins... That's right, my pet's name is PoopyKins, any problems?

mhh im not 100% sure yet but i think the first i´ll go for is Ranger. Just becaue i like hunterlike stuff and always stick between Priest- or hunterclass. In the end i have to admid i´m pretty bored to play priestclass (i´m a bad supporter *cough) and somehow making dmg with a priestbased class is always... not ubba x)

dunno i didn´t played wow for a long time. Earlier when you were able to use flask and potions at the same time (different kind) but i was actually talking about the feeling that a "Supportclass is making dmg" is not a ubba in getting a kind of connection to your character. (I like to play what i actually can connect with myself) *cant describe it* xD

I'm actually just leaning toward Assassin, but will definately play both.

I think the assassin will be an awsome character with dual daggers, stealth, and other skills to get behind someone for the high crits. So I will at least use 1 assassin and would consider using 2 (1 boxed on a second computer) if they end up opening the classes up to more than 8. I'd like to play 2 slightly different assassins to knock out the target quickly!

I just hope i wont have to swing swords again like WOW but stay with daggers :P

Ranger for sure. Being ranged already was nuts, but now you can actually fly to a cliff or something and snipe people! That's going to be awesome and terrifying at the same time. Assassins, well I don't do well with those types...having a AW and a Rogue in my previous dexterous stabby play style characters, I want to try something new.

I pick assassin.

I've never played a ranger and probably never will. In my current game of choice I play an assassin and I love her. She can kick some major booty. I'm anxious to see how the assassins play in Aion compared to what I'm used to. I'm sure it'll be different but no less fun. I love scout classes.

I have always play stealth base class in every game, otherwise a healer or ranger.

And the Assassins in this game isn't gimp, so Assassin for the win~!
