NCsoft is hiring more community folk for their Brighton, UK offices!

One thing I find disturbing is the fact they don't even give out the requirement to actual work as a Community Forum Moderator.

Also I hope people understand they will be working on the base wage that a normal customer support employee would get in a call centre, which is bascially min wage within the United Kingdom.

Also for those living outside the United Kingdom, they will not pay for your travel costs to relocate there. They will probably help you with finding an apartment and get your paperwork sorted out, but don't expect to be living the high life working for NCSoft West.

1- thats THE biggest MMO of all time.
2-starcraft, warcraft, diablo...some of the most record breaking games...

ncsofts NA/EU games wouldnt even come close to the number of users that are on the blizzard networks

Yeap Blizzard Activision is the biggest gaming company within the world. Blizzard has been around for 18 years from the time they were once called Silicon and Synapse. They are the most successful developer out there at the moment!

They may have one successful MMO, but it's the biggest MMO of all time and no one MMO will reach the goals it's hit and years running with the numbers of players going at the same time. Also don't forget they are making a 2nd MMO.

NCSoft sure have made a lot of MMOs, but how many of those have flopped and probably only lasted a few months before losing a vast majority of it's player base due too ...... poor customer service. Including turning a blind eye to bots!

Sure NCSoft is a games developer, but not the best within the industry.

If people really want to get into the gaming industry and don't mind starting at the bottom, then go for it and I hope they are successful, but ask yourself this ... is it really worth it to be laughed at?

It's a job advert and you've turned it into a personal crusade against an ex-employer of yours or at least (judging by the cry in your posts) someone with experience.

Fortunately I've never worked for NCSoft and wouldn't even if they offered me a job with them. I'd rather be a street cleaner then have NCSoft's name on my resume/CV.

As the game was made by NCSoft in Korea I don't mind; however my problem isn't with the development, but the customer support that NCSoft West provide.

Seeing as the jobs they are offering are for "NCSoft West" I just feel sorry for those that want to get into the gaming industry that bad.
