Common Issues and Fixes
Well hopefully this will prevent the creation of redundant threads somewhat and lend quick assistance to said thread makers.
Currently Aionsource has the odd misplaced screwdriver or two lodged in various parts of our lovely clockwork, here are a couple issues and the resolutions to said issues. ![]() My signature pic doesn't display!!! When creating a signature on Aionsource you need to bear two things in mind, one is that we use the SIGPIC system and another is that not everyone has signatures attatching to their posts by default. To upload a signature you will need to go to the Edit Signature menu (accessible from My Account) Adding in a picture is easy, simply scroll down to the bottom and manually upload the picture in question or link to it from another website. Don't forget to click "Insert Signature Picture" once it's uploaded otherwise it wont show up! You can do this manually if you wish by adding the code [sigpic][/sigpic] where you want the image. Please note that all signature images are hosted locally on our servers and as such are bound by our file limitations. Current signature limitations are as follows. ![]() No e-mail confirmation or password request emails!? Well for some wacky reason or another certain email providers aren't overly fond of poor Knite's email address, we've tried switching it around a bit but there's a few out there that just don't like us for some reason. On a slightly lighter note dear Knite wakes up to a wall of "FAILED DELIVERY!" notifications every day which secretly makes me chuckle a little. On that note if you're unfortunate enough to not receive your account activation or password reset emails when requested you will need to manually request them from me. It's pretty easy and I tend to leave my email program open all day so it should notify me the moment you send anything. Bearing in mind that I do go into hybernation from time to time in order to remain alive ._. Basically all you will need to state is what the issue is and your account name, also please be sure to send said email from the address associated to your account. While you could be lazy and not tell me your account name I could just search by email but chances are I'll get lazy and forget!
