PM frame

Yet again. I definitely like the notification bar at the top that tells me about PMs and other notifications, but I would like to be able to see, upon opening a notification, a condensed view of the notification within the pop-out frame. In the same way that the search box opens when you select it from the forum navigation or when you select the Notifications link in the upper right. And it would open within that notifications thing. In need of a creative outlet, bare with me.

That would take a ton of code. Perhaps your idea is better off on vBulletin's own forums, because I sure as heck can't do it. Not experienced enough, yet.

If I understand correctly, which I'm not sure if I do, this could be done using a simple jquery pop-out with the required php include placed within this pop-out.

That wouldn't take a hole lot of code unless you want it customizable from the admin back-end which is by no means a necessity.

I think it would look ugly, personally, if what I'm thinking is correct.

Obviously if it's a big PM, then it would cut the text short with a "..." and would offer a link at the bottom for the full PM.
