Forum order, what should it be?

A lot of people seem to think the forums need to be reordered. The only reason they are how they are right now is because I used to rely on the forums to host screenshots and attract people to Aion with said screenshots. Now I let the image gallery do that for me, via the randomized thumbnails on the main page.

So, personally I'd probably rearrange the forums like so:

AionSource.com
NCsoft
Aion: Tower of Eternity
Multimedia
Chitchat

My reasoning for placing NCsoft's category pretty high up on the list is twofold. First, they're making Aion. It just makes sense to me to put them on top of it, lol. Anyhow, without them we wouldn't be here. Second, their category is the only other category that automatically posts threads as news on the front page.

So, what do you guys think?

I prefer it how it is. Like we have discussed before, the plan that you have as time progresses seems best.

Fourms are fine... the games not even out, its fine atm, but I think it could use a bit more order as in terms of offtopic ect. and gulids. I dont think I could think of a better order but maby you have some awesome admin powers they change thigns around.

My personal opinion, there are currently too many fora (forums). It fragments the topics, and, in general, people view less threads. For example, half the forums in "everything else" have less than a page of threads. I only say this because when Aion is released (or at least in beta), things will get really cluttered. The "General Discussion" will be packed with real info, the guild section will have an abundance of subforums. Basically, when more info comes out, there will be a disproportionate amount of forums dedicated to non-Aion topics.

With Aion as the primary focus of this website, it should have the most space dedicated to it. As Koji said, now, the current layout is great and very functional. The only concern is much later. Also, not that it makes a difference, but I admin another gaming fansite.

As it is right now, i think it is great. When the game comes out people are going to want to know and discuss game topics, so i think it should probably move up a bit. Number 2 or 3 down. Where NCsoft goes is a bit of a pickle. Without them the game would never have been started and they deserve alot of credit for that, but once the game is on its feet, how many people will come here to discuss NCsoft? just a thought. But as long as everything works (which it definately has so far, though i have to scroll to the bottom of the dialogue box to click on the first few links when looking at forum topics.) then I think it doesnt really matter what order it is in, ill like it!
