I want to know what you members thought of our little vBExperience experiment. Was it worth the hassle? Was it fun, interesting? Or was it just another feature to ignore, or did you get a bunch of spam because of it? Did you notice people suddenly start posting more or making more threads, or joining more social groups or blogging more often?

yup... that was me...

i thought it was a neat feature... but would have been more accurate had it been available from day 1... i think (and based on your poll options, you agree) that some folks simply looked at it as a means to "rise in the ranks"...

but its still a neat little feature...

It's a nice little extra, although rather useless since you can't really "measure" someone just by the amount of posts/blogs, but still, if the system doesn't get abused, meaning spam, then it can be still fun to watch.

It was okay. I didn't pay much attention to the old rankings, so this made no difference for me.

It was fun to watch. I didn't change how I posted at all and didn't get any spam.

Initially I ignored it, but I became interested after finding out I had received an award... haha. I ended up visiting a couple members' profiles. In my opinion, it's a great way to promote forum features such as the visitor message wall and blogs.

Also, on side note. vBE button replaced the quick links one, i used to click it with no looking and always ended in vbe menu.

I ignored vBExperience, its existence bothered me.

More spam, people using the community stuff annoyingly, etc.

It's not exactly excessive at the moment, but it's only going to get worse.

it is the best feature too appear on aionsource it real shows who the best posters are and who too ask if you ever have a question

I really liked it. To be honest, it encouraged me to post more. Not useless posts, but to interact more with the community.
Sure that can lead to spam, but with the reputation system and the possibility to give negative reputation, you can counter it.

I didn't care that I was on #2 behind Diablo, but i really like the levelling-up-system behind it. Also I think it fits perfect to a MMO fansite

It would be sad, if won't come back, but oh well. I really don't have influence on that ^^
It's the choice of the community as a whole.
