They deleted it most likely because you were saying goodbye. werent a part of the Community anymore...there fore noone really cared.

Besides i dont feel the Admin is Harsh at all. Mark has let me slide with several Infractions....i just learned from my mistakes and Havent repeated any of the things i had done. I now try to be a more productive/constructive part of the community.

Hell, I used to scream at every person making a duplicate thread and at all the necromancers. I stopped out of boredom. I guess I never got yelled at because while screaming at them, I answered their question.

Never did i compare anything that happened to you....to what has happened to me. i merely stated that the ADMIN is not NAZI as you so state them as. Midgar, you have a point. This forum's primary purpose is the discussion of Aion. However, we can't talk about one game all the time. The Flashchat especially, there just isn't enough to talk about. Azhida, if you don't like our moderation practices then let someone know. Constructive criticism is always appreciated at AionSource.com. We aren't some kind of dictatorship, I do care about what our members think. However, administrators and moderators do have the final say in these matters. Please be respectful of us, we'll respect you back.

Moderators and Admins of AionSource deal with trolls and the new users. We do not want people trolling the trolls, so to speak. Like Kody said, it's a shame you do not want to visit AionSource anymore, and we hope you enjoy the game regardless. It's going to be very exciting with all the closed beta three information, and I'm sure you will come by to read about it.

We appreciate input on everything, that's why we have a feedback forum and there's always the PM system.

Best thing people can do is report the posts you dont like, and we will take action if it's necessary. Moreover, yeah, what Mark just did is something we've discussed for awhile now, it should resolve the annoying "when is the English beta????" type of questions.

A different matter I can't stress enough is that we're not going for the L2blah approach at all here. L2blah is filled with owned images and 99% useless information--we're focusing on building a community and working together with NCsoft, overall it's much nicer to actually find useful information and interesting discussions, instead of the type of threads you find at l2blah.

If your rejecting the site for it's administration, that isn't so new to me, but lingering on after you've already decided to leave just shows weakness, and neediness, your better off just cutting clean and letting the disdain fall on deaf ears.

Personally, I feel like certain administrators are shallow too, but forums are for community, not education, so you have to expect some politics. Still it is sad that we do not get some wise intervention or support for reason from those with responsibility, or that admins intervien against vindication instead of snuffing out lies and initial offense. But admins are just like most people, and just as likely to err, if you know your right than it is noble to suffer the indignity of others and take a penalty. But getting the last word in is silly, it doesn't prove anything except that you have a weak ego, unless you have a rightious reason to challenge authority, your just being a nussance.

Screaming "illegal" at every occasion without actually having a clue about law is a sure-fire way of making an idiot out of yourself.
Deleting a thread about opening .pak files citing "copyleft" laws - pathetic, and proof you have no clue about copyright law, and this also proves that you are what people call an "AI" - "American Ignorant". This basically means that you assume that your (perverted, btw.) law applies miraculously worldwide, and that you have to obey "the law" - whatever you mean by that.

So stop overreacting on these kind of things, please.

Well let's remember (While I do agree with some of what you say, to a certain extent) that since Mark is in America, whether these laws apply worldwide (Which I don't think he or any other staff ever meant to imply) or not, they apply to him, and he has to answer to NCsoft, more or less.

First off Zyuu, you completely contradicting yourself. You state this isnt a 'l2blah - l2orphus' based environment. Yet the warning I get from you is "Your dumb." Pretty funny isnt it. I post something pretty damn harmless and because of that you couldnt think of any other excuse to please your trigger happy finger except "your dumb".

Yep, i was one of the admins on www.l2orphus.com, and i know what to expect from people who flame / spam on a regular basis, and something like that was completely uncalled for. You had no reason to do what you did other than being trigger happy. But then again your newer here... so who the hell knows. Theres a time and place to exercise admin rights, and most of these posts getting deleted and censored certainly dont deserve it.

But hey, maybe thats what Mark wanted? Over the top admining to the point where it causes a negative impact? Well Mark, maybe in the future you will be more careful choosing admins. If it was up to me i'd be punishing / warning / banning the opposite side, the side that refuses to read FAQ's, stickys and other tools before asking ignorant questions, completely ignoring the effort the community put into the site. As long as a member is an established part of the community, you should know what to expect from them and know the type of poster they are.


Anyway goodluck Mark... you'll probably need it.
