Building faction tension! And what about those race/class icons?

I figured we could try and do a few things to gear people towards a more PvP oriented mentality in preparation for the release of Aion. Maybe we could have a faction flame thread where (in good fun, not serious) people can just spew (mildly) hateful things like Assmodian or Failyos.

Or maybe we could just create two subforums within the General Discussion forum for each faction and people can discuss any Aion related matter in a factional setting.

By the way, what ever happened to the class and race icons that were suggested a while ago. People seemed to like the idea but it seems it hasn't gotten off the ground.

I believe the timing wasn't right, but now that launch date is getting closer you might want to push for it. I don't think General Discussion would be the place for something like that though, you don't want flames to start spreading around too far, you know what they say about fires.

Well, you understand that by flames, I just meant that people in a very generally acceptable way could trash the other race. Besides, I don't see the harm in racial subforums. Perhaps flaming wasn't the best way of putting it. But you see where I'm going with this.

Hmm, I'm no good at making icons. Like I said, if someone wants to make some I'll try to make it work. No guarantees.

Yeah, GL with that whole building tension thing. At this point in time everyone is far too into the RP bullshit such as "I will spill all Eylos blood". Not really accomplishing much other than furthering that until the game is released and people start to **** each other off.

I will not spill all pigeon blood, that is very wasteful. I will however drink large quantities of it.

Yeah I understand what you meant, but you see there will be flames, moderated flames I've no doubt I've nothing against stuff like Diablo just showed us, quite to the contrary but there will be people mistaking those threads for Aion blah. Is what I'm saying and I think to contain it there should be racial sub forums again, I was pointing at the thread already made in General Discussion.
