i can kind of see the idea with this thing, alhough i would think your fingers would almost trip over each other, and your brain free from trying to figure out if "X+Y+A+D" is the instant lock or the instant warp key
since from what this path have is only 10 bottoms, and then if you can controll the stick perfectly 19 bottoms(2 of them used for flying+1for going in flying mode=16), but then again i didn't win any bottoms from using it, and i don't have any extra key's for.

ow well, i guess it is a preference, if you have lamed with it enough it is properly nice to have, but again, i think it is really a matter of preferance

(a mouse with a ton of bottoms, see that's much better then the normal mouse :P ).

3) you can change profiles on the fly(so one button.) Not to mention you can program a button as control if you wish to(though there is no situation where this is effective).

To use control en press another button, you will get your fingers of WASD.

Remembering all the button placement this is way easier, then a keyboard. Just compare teh amount of buttons, not to mention on the nostromo all the buttons are in reach in the natural.

Sure it's a matter of preference. It's like people prefering the NES joypad to the dualshock.

There's another keyboard I have seen which has removable programmable keys and you place it on a dishwasher safe mat. I can't remember what it's called but I am getting it for my birthday and can't wait to use it. Played WoW and Counter strike on it and it's so so much better for my hands and fingers, broken ones don't move correctly.

Shut down is also called CC or mez, like Sleep, Curse: Tree, (Ice) Restraint... those kinds of debuffs that would prevent proper control of enemy's characters.
