[Translation] Know-How: Sorcerer PvP

Is this Seyfried dude the "best sorcerer that makes videos" sorcerer? Any other names?

edit: I watched the new video and noticed that the Backward teleport is pretty much the same thing as WoW Hunter's Backward Disengage (something I have mastered) so this is another skill that will make the transition pretty smooth and makes me think that Sorcerers will play very natural to my playstyle.

They spend a lot of time talking about control setup. I bought a Logitech MX310 mouse because it has a button on either side, which means I can map the side buttons to left/right, and map pressing both standard mouse buttons to going forward. That allows me to move my character entirely with the mouse. That frees up the entire left side of my keyboard for whatever skills and items I want to keybind.

the higher Atack Boost for other weapons is +5.

You realize that the last patch was a balancing patch, and obviously there were some issues to modify? I'm not saying there won't be more tweaking done, just cool your jets on complaining about it til you get there...

Hmm figured this was best place for it. But on Kor Test realms SMs had a 2ndary debuff added to one of their spells, Bind on Element.

5. [Bind of Element] now includes a 50% casting speed debuff and have higher chance to land
a. [Official] - Decreases attack speed and all elemental resistance by 200 for 30 seconds
b. Comment ? Oh nos for Clerics and Sorcerers


I can't find the spell on Armory obviously because of name changes. But a 50% casting reduction is pretty rough :P better watch out for those SMs if this goes live :P

Haaaaaah I'm lovin it! ...the vids at the end def got me pumped up. Really great tips and from FPS'in I thought doing the reverse BlindLeap™ would be a good move to pull so glad to see that further reinforced.

and now correct me if I'm wrong, Adding GODSTONES OP Sorcs of Sins ?

1% chance to par/stun/bleed - so on 1/100 spells will make additional "bonus" ... so lets try it in pvp now, probably Sin can hit 20-30 times in pvp against oponnent so he have about 20-30 % chance for additional bonus in EVERY pvp, lets say Sorc will use about 8-12 spells so it's 8-12 % .... wow Assassins are OPed cuz GodStones, nerf it!!

This is used for the left hand ad keyboard (gamepad). With your thumb you can switch between 3 different instances for chainging the hotkeys by pressing on that tiny little space-key. All in all there are like 56 or more accessable keys without pressing shift/ctrl/alt or anything annoying.

Really nice Thread! lots of useful informations... I think i will only use attackspeed scrolls now in pvp :P and much more absorption-scrolls for avoiding aether's skills.

Thing is at endgame sorcs have 10K+ hp, so either profiles on aion sites lie or author of guide have zero clue.
