There. It's hard to not notice the time difference between macro and manual.

How exactly does that tiny bit of information = delay of several seconds in your Mind? Tell me please.

Because that delay just says NOT more then 4-5 seconds, which is less then several. And the main reason for the 4-5 seconds max is because of 3 second cast spells and their animations afterward.

If you read that post , it says set delays according to cast times, if not a second more for long animation spells. That's it. No where does it says its REQUIRED to have SEVERAL seconds delay between each skill.

I was able to do:

/Skill Flame Bolt
/Delay 2
/Skill Blaze

And it worked perfectly, soon as flame bolt finished it did blaze right away.

I don't know if you manually type those commands in or not, but when I just dragged the skills into the slot, there was a noticable delay between each cast including from Firebolt > Blaze.

Well, TBH, I see no point in skill macros. PvPvE is funner when you can account for and react accordingly to the situation rather than just press a button and repeat same process over and over.

Remember this is based on Sleeping the mob first manually, then switching to the DPS target.

I haven't tried without the delay, I put it in there to make sure the sleep is cast before it switches back(don't need to have the mob targeted the whole time slept is cast). But this works for me in elite groups. For pugs(not on vent) you can add a /group Sleeping >>>[%Target]<<< don't touch, or something similar , to let them know what your sleeping. Supposedly a way to put icons in macros also. So could maybe even have /group Sleeping >>>(actual icon)[%Target]<<< , so its easier for people to be aware of where the NPC is at your sleeping.

Will have to do some testing with it this weekend, since don't have to worry about leveling :P

macro's in aion suck just as much as the L2 macro.. actualy I think they even recycled the code...

You should experiment with that macro again.

I have macros that change target straight after I begin casting.

Yeah Aion macros are horrible god the more I play this game the more I feel I should cancel my sub, hell AoC was better than this and that flopped.

HVing problems with a macro using delay. I tried to make a macro to cast flame cage and then with a delay whisper myself 5 secs before flame cage ends.

I'm at work rigt now but the macro looks something like this

/ skill flame cage I
/ delay 10
/ w Afro fc ends in 5

the problem I'm having it seems like the macro end before the delay and whisper

the skill still goes off but not the whisper

I excluded some of the symbols for phone typing ease buuuut anyone else got a macro with this idea to work?

I personally don't think it's very efficient to use macros as a sorc, considering we have so many spells and the different situations that constantly occur :P

My Mana Macro:
When Absord Energy is on CD it casts Mana Treatment

I made a nice PvE grinding macro for when I'm watching TV/movies/eating. It only took a few minutes to get the delays worked out so there isn't a pause, and once it was fine tuned it works just as well as if I were doing it in real-time.

Lumiel's Wisdom, Delayed Blast, Ice Chain combo, Flame Cage, Flame Harpoon, Fire Chain combo, Flame Harpoon, and then Freezing Wind goes off if it isn't dead yet. Can be done every 30 seconds, if I can find another mob before then I just kill them manually.

So I think the macro system works fine and is easy to use, just takes a bit to figure out the best delay times.
