Good ol sorc?

Based on the video's the sorceror isn't anything new to the world of mmo's. Array of Aoe's and offensive spells with a couple self buffs.

I like the way Sorceror's have all these flashy moves. Currently, I haven't seen any Sorceror use a large staff, seems like spellbooks are the way to go.

I'm leaning towards this class as it seems to get little attention. What do you guys think?

I'll most likely be playing as a Sorcerer... They look awesome Their skills are the flashiest, and nuking is fun~

Although, they can curse and stuff too. I saw some sleeping spells, some enemy transformation spells, slow down, binds, and other stuff...

I really love playing casters they are the most fun ever
but I also love hybrids and finding the odd ways to make em work, ill be rolling a sorc, just not as my main

I was shocked when the SpiritMaster did Fear on like 6 crab mobs at once, which leads me to believe their spells may just vary and be as cool as the Sorcerors. It's just that, all the Sorceror's skills will be focused on pure damage dealing.

Yes I believe what will happen in massive PvP is a Sorceror killing 6 people and dying once, then re-do, based on the CBT 2 video mages can port similar to the WoW blink spell.

I dont think this class will get the least attention yakuzan. The mage in mmo's is your typical nuker, this class tends to be overplayed from my experience.

over played and nerfed until no one will play it anymore
still i will roll a sorcerer because i love casters and mainly mages
just hope those flashy moves won't "stick" your mage to the ground. it would be nasty in PvP to just sit and watch the flashy moves ( talking about instant spells ).

It looks like Sorcerers might be one of the more complex roles to play. Being made of glass, but have so much damage and seemingly the most CC ability, it looks like a pretty advanced class to handle.

I'm still debating whether or not to play Sorcerer, it looks like a lot of fun and I enjoy being a Mage in party PvE but Solo and PvP I am not so sure about...

Not that they would be bad in either of those areas, but I wonder if I might get a bit sick of being so squishy.

if you control the mages abilities just right .. the targets won't even get near you. Main problem would be the other ranged classes

I think sorcs will be decent crowd control; in the new movie, I saw one turn a mob into a tree, kinda like when in WoW you can polymorph things in sheep. I'm assuming it will be lessened for pvp, but it's another kool idea that I'm happy they added. Aoe slowing spells would be a nice addition. That's critical for mages, at least in mmo like WoW

Yeah, Sorcerers certainly strike me as Aion's most utility class at least from the limited knowledge I've gained from random videos. I think their worth might be under appreciated during the first several months of the game.

Sorcerers start with spell book as weapon, but i am not sure yet whether sorcerers can use spell books only even later. some people said that by using stigma, it is possible to learn to use other weapons or armors. i.e: it is possible to equip plate as mage or cleric.

Id use stigmas that allow greater casting range, faster casting speed or higher dmg' than be able to equip heavy armors =P
