Spell schools

How many spell schools we have ? I saw fire / Frost - ice / Lightning - Electric / XXX ( Purple ) .... in video

I would mention light, but that's for the Clerics and Chanters.

My sorc is level 18, so far I've learned Fire, Frost, Water... and some unknown elemental for "snare" spell. I am getting new spells once I hit level 19 oh and I found a stigma stone, which is for sorc only and I think it unlocks some new spell. I will update about stigma once I hit level 20.

I was wondering, are elemental weaknesses a big thing in Aion? Do you get a large boost using Water against a Fire mob? I'd kinda like that if only from a strategy point - means you can't spam one spell over and over. Or is there just a small, slightly negligible boost?

Probably wouldn't be a large boost because it would give Sorcerers a advantage in farming and grinding than other classes by using the mob's element weakness.

No idea about this yet, I've killed earth elemental, wind elemental and water elemental so far... they are simply immune from same element. Earth and Wind elementals has nothing to do with sorc but Water elemental was immune from every frost and water spells, had to spam fire arrow spell to kill it. So I am not sure if there are any partial resisted damage or anything like that yet, at least I don't think fire arrow damaged water elemental more than it's suppose to hit for.

Thanks, keep an eye out for me incase there is anything, but I imagine it is probably as you said.

That's cool you can play the Korean version..... can you tell us what the leveling grind is like? I plan to 2-3 box ... enchanter/healer/sorc so hopefully it won't be too bad that way.

Also ...is there a class that is more prone to making money or items (like in Lineage II) or is it just that NPC class the Shugos(w/e they are called) and all the playable classes are just for pvp/pve.

I hate the way air is always lightning why not gravity like thrusting your enemys into the air and causing falling damage

You can have them suspended in the air for a few short moments. But I don't think that has to do anything with mages itself. I believe every class has that.
