Well being able to replace the look of an armor by another one is pretty cool. Too bad it doesn't apply to high-end gear. I don't like huge shoulders nor helmets that have lava swirling around the head. I like the common leather sets with simple metal plates.

I'd love to see a blend of samurai with fantasy. I saw something similar in one of the video's.

oh and yea.. im not mutch on a full lenth robe for a Mage armor unless it actualy 'looks' good... no single tone/colors please!!! if it 'must' be a full lenth robe, atleast give it a decent design.. like some of the high'end DAOC stuff

oh and as for the L2 fassions.. i'd love to have a set of the Light Blue-Wolf armor =D

Well think of it this way, if you don't like your end game armor and you like another one better you can always just trade the stats =P that's one of my favorite features of this game, you don't end up with s&%*& looking armor at the end of the game. Majorly looking forward to this game, and sorcerer class. I can't wait till it comes out.

It's true that magic classes tend to get gimp in the pimp gear category... but we also get to start shooting pretty lights from level one. That and the non-magic classes tend to die quickly without us.

We are a squishy class that put out bangs in everything we do. For gear wise we can always look good. In MMOs i always perfered the light/robes. Something classy and nice on a mage would be great. As for weapons i wouldn't mind using a book... but from past MMO experiences mages tend to use shields as well. So the outfit/sheild/weapon need to look great together.

A shield on a mage? How do they cast spells? Now a sword, that looks cool - even if they never dare to use it. I'm just sick of seeing mages with staves. A book in one hand and a sword in the other, now that'd be cool by me.

i mean in most mmo's i have played its either a one hand mage weapon + sheild. But if spellbooks are two handed weapons... that is just absurd. It would be kind of pimp if we could get mage swords/daggers. Dual weild mages ftw.

I don't see why not. Even WoW allows a mage to wield a tome and a sword at the same time. Heck, it's one of the best setups for PVP - not that WoW's PVP system is very good.

Man it's all about the accesories! Give me some masks/hats/ears? It would be nice to have a giant cape. I really want big shiny auras around my weapon/armor/wings. (L2j you have corrupted my mind...)
