Casting Speed

So does anyone know about anything that would increase our casting speed as Sorcs? I mean im sure that robe sets might give you something to deal with that... but im still in "Lineage II" mode of spellsingers and kinda want to go bam bam bam bam bam with nukes. =P

uhm....I remember I heard something about stigmas...they probably increase the spells casting rate

MMM stigmas... Magic Attack Increase, Casting Speed Increase, Skill Re-Use Time Decrease. A well build sorc will be... a rape machine. Wonder if they are going to put in some Health stigmas. xD

Don't quote me on this, but I'm like, 99% sure I've read something where differen't books will also effect your casting speed. Robes will obviously, and probably stigmas too.

Well from a CBT2 video i saw a ranger and spiritmaster pvping. And while the Spiritmaster was casting spells he was getting canceled quite often. I hope that this doesnt happen to us sorcs since you know our main way of dealing damage is getting spells off =P Hopefully there is something to improve our concentration so that this doesnt make it a huge problem. Yay for L2 style mages xD

EDIT: Saw the concentration passive. Hopefully that is enough to get us by cuz i would really like to use Stigmas for offensive purposes. =)

I'd say concentration and/or dmg for PvE and cast speed and/or dmg for PvP. I'm assuming u can only use one stigma. So let's hope stigma's can be interchangeable @ a low cost fee.

Let's not rely too much on stigma's.

As for this matter, I don't know anything that's for sure. What I know for sure is that I go for full damage-dealing on my sorcerer. Screw defense, I don't mind dying if you can respawn near the action and with not too insane respawn time.

Casting speed or any other stat is probably increased by armor and weapons. To further increase stats one will surely be able to use the Stigma system or buffs.

yea if there is something to boost the casting speed it must be like a stigma but its still pretty tief

You can use more then one...

In fact...

The wiki says you will have five slots available, of course it depends on what level you reach and what quests you have done as to if you have all five slots unlocked, so you will be able to have multiple different Stigmas.

I personally am going to have my girlfriend who will play a cleric with me about 95% of the time, so I don't have to worry about defense, melee, armor, and healing. So with that in mind im going to focus on chanter Stigmas that will increase my mana regeneration, and decrease my casting time, and decrease casting interval. Aside from those three, more damage...

But stigmas is probably where we get most of our increases from/items.

IMO things that can change casting speed:
1) stigmas
2) robes
3) jewerly (earrings, rings, necklaces, etc.)
4) tattoos (maybe?)
5) what wings you have (i heard their are more powerful wings you can acquire)
6) what book is in your posession
7) passives

I think thats how it was spelled, or something similar.

Anyways, I think gear will be the most effective way to change casting time, Stima's will be next on priority, and I think wing gems will be the most insignificant of forms for changing casting time, since their supposed to be primarily for wing design.
