Elite soloing

I have recently been soloing Scout Takata in the Tursin Garrison in Veteron. I'm level 24 and just wondering if anyone else has found any other melee only mobs that they are farming for green/blue quality items, either in Veteron or Eltnen?

Nobody else soloing stuff, or just doesn't want to share their knowledge?

you might be able to sift some basic kiting/soloing info from this thread however. ^.^

You don't need to grind at that level do you? Especially not elites...

lvl 24 is the first grind level really, and its only for 50% if u spammed quest up to 24

I got from 24 to 25 in less than 3 hours, more than half of it off quests. That's more like a brisk morning jog than "putting your face to the grindstone".

Now, 44 to 45, that was a grind. Made me want to punch kittens.

Does that mean it gets better 45+? I've been lvl 44 for days now, but I guess that has something to do with the fact of me not being able to play nearly as much due to having exams next week. I just need 25% more >.>!

The reason for wanting to solo Elites is not really to deal with the grind that is 24 - 25, as I haven't found it that bad. It was more to make some money. Named elite mobs is what I was focusing on.

By soloing Scout Takata on my sorcerer, it means I have equipped my Gladiator and Assassin with 2x 10 crit earings, and been able to sell the additional earings on the broker.

I wondered if there were any more mobs such as this, that people have been farming to gear up themselves/alts/make money on the broker.

Anything ranging from 25 - 35 is what I'm interested in really, as I'm leveling quite slow as I'm leveling 3 characters at pretty much the same time.

once you get to about 35 if your feeling your up to it suggest killing krall elites in HQ the molars sell real good since its Q items an ppl need 100 for 3 peices 150 for legs an 200 i believe for chest if they get that whole set then once your gettin to 37 killin elites in LC is good for those marks they drop to sell

Yes, it does. 45 and 46 were both extremely quick levels for me, thanks to needing to run through SR multiple times for stigma quests, finishing Theobomos campaign quests, and running through Theo Labs a couple of times. 47 has taken quite a bit longer, but mostly because I spent much of my time running fortresses/fort instances for AP and medals, and leveling up my aether gathering at last; that, and midterms.

From what I've heard from my guildies, 48 and 49 are absolute nightmares, though. Not really looking forward to having to get 240 million exp in just two levels.

at 24 i started grinding the vetren scouts in elthen (mines i believe it was) but you need a good amount of magic acc and the macc food because their lvl 28/29.

its rather simple though. just grab one of the pats (remember the scouts are ranged while the veteran scouts are melee) with delayed blast>flame cage and start halling *** back towards the guards/where you should set your oblisk.

once the mob gets to about 15m, which by this time every other mob should have de-agroed,

root him>max distance>delayed blast if its off cd>ice chain>frozen shock>flame cage>erosion

and just keep using
icechain>flame cage>erosion combo till you get back to the gaurds.

save the root, when it comes off of cd, for ice chain resists and make sure not to get out of the 25 m range of ice chain and use it as soon as it comes off of cd.

if you do about 50% of his hp before you get to the guards you get to loot him and will get about 65k or so xp. when you start killing them without the gaurds you will get about 115k xp. money is not that great doing this but the xp is nice

if your good at jump casting you can throw in a flame harpoon between flame cage and erosion, but if not i wouldnt bother. also make sure to have stone skin on and have it off of cd before you pull.

I even use 4 sec casts and everything i can throw at them while kiting elites....

i dont remember having a 4 sec cast at 24, or even now (about to ding 31 and change that) but you have to be good at jump casting when fighting the kaiden mines Vscouts they run rather fast and the slow has a slower window.

again, if your good at jump casting throw it out there between cage and erosion, if your really good and have a low latency throw a flame bolt after erosion while waiting on chain cd. ya just gotta be careful for resist, range and debuffs
