Spirit Book Drops - Page 9

Still nada from the Springwater spirits. Someone who was farming with me all morning (not grouping) got it, but I didn't

5 hours today, and about 3 yesterday. Started right before I hit 30, now over halfway to 31.

Made nearly 100k in fresh water essence though, and some other white/green drops.

edit: FINALLY got it. Got from 30-31 and 40% to 32 while grinding.

I'm a level 28 elyos and since i saw a lot of threads talking about the awful rates of the summon spirit books, i headed over to the Mystic Spring in Eltnen to start farming my Water Spirit II. The thing is i got mine after 10 mobs... i told a glad who was grinding nearby me, and he said he has like 3 of those... easy drop.... But i kinda don't believe him... in Zikiel, there's only one on the broker an its selling for 2kk o.O

So... my question is... am i really that lucky? or they increased the rates and i missed the informative post.

Does anyone know if you "have" to get book 2, to use book 3? I'm 34 and still don't have Water Spirit II. If I don't get it by the time I'm high enough to use WS III, can I skip WS II?

Yes you can skip rank 2, and at that point I'd say you should just skip it. But know that III is more expensive and harder to get than II.

Yeah; honestly, by the time you're 34 or 37 (you'll get Fire 3 by then, and if you're lucky, Wind 3), you don't really need Water 2. I did see a level 36 farming for it, maybe just for the heck of knowing all skills. It's up to you.

what about Water IV??? is this not found yet? no lvl 50 SM has Water IV or is it a quest or what? cuz even in Finnalie's SM FAQ, it doesnt list the Water IV ... just made me wonder

Water IV as well as Earth IV are not in game yet, as they require a higher level than 50 to attain due to the leveling nature of skills. You get Water III at level 41, meaning it will be level 49 when you're 50, and they typically like to have 2-3 levels of underleveled before the next rank. When they increase the level caps you will see Water IV + Earth IV skills. You can see the sprites in game though as NPCs.

wow thats crazy! and as a lvl 30 grinding it out, -wow I can't wait for a level increase! yay! more levels to grind til max! /sarcasm. actually its not that bad, i got some good music going a good smoke here and there, and i go pvp in abyss after im done grinding/ get bored w it

I decided I wasn't going to wait until I was 31 to grind for my Water Spirit II. So last night I went to grind on the Springwater Spirits at the Mystic Springs, I spent 2-3 hours grinding having the springs to myself 95% of the time, nothing. I went back there this morning to find another SM grinding for the book. After about 2 hours of competing for mobs I finally got my drop.

My answer to farming spirit book drops is always the same: it takes way less time to make the money to buy it on the broker than it takes to get it to drop.

Can anyone confirm if Fin Vespine and Web Vespine also drop Wind IV in Theobomos in Elyos?

There is a level 45 templar bot that put up 2 Wind Spirit IV books. I look around and saw him killing Fin Vespine and Coastal Lobstek.

i dunno if someone posted this already but for the lvl 3 Water Spirit the Huge Moon Flowers drop them in Heiron. West part of the map. Got one of the first kill
