What is your Cast order when Grinding...

I usually start with the Orbs ( These do the same dmg even when naked ? ) and then move to Pet taunt and Erosion With a follow up if needed for the Orbs...My Question is we stack MB yet most of our spells we use wont be effected?...Grant it Im only lvl 30, I know when we get weakness ect it changes some.....Any help would be great thanks....

my rotation atm @ lvl 23 is

Spirit Thunderbolt Claw I

Chain of Earth I

Erosion II

Servants

Auto Attack

haha and that basicly it, might throw a Flamebolt combo and a new Claw if the mob is red but i mostly grind on orange ones that die within the first rotation, this is ofc with DP buff up


I keep aggro so i dont have to waste mana/time healing my pet

@30ish:

Pet attack (normal or Thunderbolt claw)
Any orb
Chain of Earth
Erosion
Kite (with or without autoattack, since pet usually keeps attacking without pulling aggro)

For ranged mobs (ranged autoattack), I stay out of its autoattack range, whatever it might be. I take a few hits to determine that, against regular mobs. If it's elites, don't bother going for the ranged mobs XD

I dinged 26 today and i just started doing this at the lava caves biggest pull was 5 elites, takes like 4-5 min to kill but damn its fun cant w8 for ae snare.

Another sm was there aswell and he started doing it too, had to leave tho when it got to crowded with ppl stealing the mobs i pulled hehe

From what i found there really isn't a set rotation through out but. what i start with is:
-Energies
-Thunderclaw
-Erosion
-Chains of Earth
-Flame Bolt(into chain)
-then by the time the chain gets off i have about 3 sec to actually have to move before getting hit by the mob. then from there i stick with erosion, chains of earth, and thunderclaw always on CD, and keeping the Blaze debuff up.

Edit. I like to use water because i usually kite in a circle r oval type pattern and the water spirit doesn't have to catch up because it is ranged.

Depends how im fighting, in most cases 1-2 sometimes 2-3 mobs.
My order is..

Servants..
Spirit Disturbance
Spirit Claw
Erosion

Then go myself to an other mob and cast..
Chain of Earth + shock
Erosion
Sandblaster

By the time the mob is near me, other mob is dead and i send pet in with Spirit Claw
and i move to an other mob, or loot first.

Though this is rather fast, you do need some mana over time pots to keep it up.
This works great in the abyss since your buff is up easy.

Cyclone of wrath <all can be done before the mob agros and runs toward you.
Erosion
Chain of earth
Stone Shock
<Erosion spam for godstone procs while kiting>
Reapply cyclone of wrath/Chain of earth when it wears off
Spirit Detonation/Claw while deto is on CD <random spirit skills if you get bored>
Summoning aclarity
Summon fire energy/Summon cyclone
repeat



can level from 41-50 in indratu barracks doing this. 550k exp at level 41 - 310k at level 49.
avg out about 2 mins per mob if your killing the low hp ones only. Maybe 3-4 mins if your level 41.

49 took about 45 min per exp bubble. each bubble is about 7 mil. bring lots of mana regen food+ good pots.

I just turned 27 and would like to try soloing elites. Curious as to what skills are more efficient for grinding? Also, which servent puts out the most damage - really wish NCSoft would put this info on the tooltip.

Cast order depends entirely on what I am fighting, how far I am from the mob when I decide to engage, what other mobs are around, and a slew of other factors. Some mobs don't take more than three or four skills before you can leave them to the DoTs. Others, you'll need to strip buffs or interrupt skills to save time. Don't use macros.

I use this same casting sequence unless I am killing two at a time and then I open with Sandblaster followed by Erosion followed by root on one mob and then switch to killing the other with the above chain but with the Chains of Earth being cast first. Normally by the time I kill the second one the first breaks and is at 20%.

Summon Energies - you cast first and keep them up they do as much dps as you
Spirit Disturbance - Gets pet going and biggest pet nuke until Spirit Detonation (lvl 40).
Erosion - This should always be on the mob. Cast second in rotation then Chain of Earth if you are kiting.
Thunderbolt
Absorb Vitality - Nice nuke, plus heal
Auto attack - book is ranged/ orb is melee

Spirit Wrath whenever it is up
Spirit Erosion whenever it is up
Slang is offline
