Grinding Horror Pt.2: Wind Spirit IV

So from what I've seen so far, it looks like the grind for our Wind Spirit IV book is going to be equal or worse the the previous wind book. I've spent three days trying to find this book with no luck. For the Elyos side, are the L.50 wind spirits in that Theobomos valley the only game in town? I finally did see a copy being sold on the broker for 9 million kinah. I hope the guy enjoys wasting posting fees.

yes thats where you get it, you dont really need it for grinding its a pvp pet anyway. wait till the price comes down and buy it then. it crappy exp and loot to grind those unless you get lucky and it only takes an hour or two but i farmed it for 5 hours before i quit and just bought it.

There's this ranger in my guild who already farmed me my Wind Spirit III. I jokingly said to him, hey, if you want to farm another skillbook for me check out those level 50 wind spirits in Theobomos. He said okay, where are they? And 1600 spirits later he found my book :P

Afterwards he went there again for a nostalgia kill and got another book on his first spirit lol. Sold it for 4,2 million to another Spiritmaster from a friendly guild.

On the open market he probably could have fetched 6-8 million on our server.

I can't be 100% on this, but given that there are plenty of bots selling wind 4 on broker, I believe the maekis near the observatory village also drop them. They are easier to farm at lower levels. I bought my book for 1kk though.

Wait till Water Spirit 3. It drops from ranged 6 dot mobs, which bots do not farm.

On Elyos side, there are a mixed number of mobs , some 2 dots and some 5 but not 6 dots. Also, the book drops from Moonflowers too which bots farm intensively and although 4 dots, not that bad to farm yourself either

And there have been reports that it drops from the water worm things too.

Wind 4 on Asmod side drops all the time. I've gotten 2 books just leveling up the last few days. I think the bots have like 8-10 on the Trade Broker currently.

Guess asmo have one thing lucky.
I also bought Water Spirit III for 120k

There are 2 Wind IV books up on the AH on Elyos Yustiel so far, for 1,350,000 and 1,500,000. We also have 2 Spirit Recovery stigmas, for 3mil and 4mil, both bots -.-;;

mhh, bought my wind spirit IV for like 100k and spirit recovery for like 200k from AH, there are several of them for sell all at around a few hundred k each, cheap cheap.

This is a little off topic but I think they changed the drop rates some what yesterday. I did one clearing of the Water Temple and had 2 Water Spirit II's drop.

850k is what I paid for mine. Where do you jump from to get to the Wind Spirits in Theobomos? I'm curious, but not actually motivated enough to jump off cliffs looking for it.

Imo buy it. 1,350,000 kinah is dirt cheap for Wind Spirit IV.

Glad I snagged wind IV and water III for 98K each before people realized their worth.
