Will SM change more?
Anyone know/think that the Sm will get more updates and change a bit more. I think I remember hearing that some of the Advanced Stigmas were newly added such as the Shackles spell, which fits our class perfectly.
It would be awsome if our class changes into having more interesting spells. Things like Shackles, Curse of Weakness (Sorc skill I know ), and the Buff/Debuff shatter spells remind me too much of GW mesmers and the creativity of their spells (infact the entire game's skill list).I can dream. Well, the only Major update that is going to benefit us is the Flying pets one. There is also another one but it's more of a Sorceror kind of thing... It's about the range. If you start casting while in range and the target goes slightly out of range you will still cast the spell. Besides that I don't think any new skills are going to be added. When the level cap is bigger, though, we'll get the last ranks of our Earth and Water pets.
Oh, and the Shackle and stuff have been in the SM skill list from Day 1 I think. ![]() |

They are nerfing Wing Root (Google Translate said the CD was 2 min now and the skill will only drain 10% flight time +3% every 3s for 30s). And they remove the crash effect from water and tempest spirit but they up the damage done for that skill.
It's google translate though so take that with a grain of salt. |

What's really ironic about this is that, we rarely get to use crash that often, but they take it away when we can finally get to use it more often. AND! It's more useful near the ground then in the air because its only really good against people that just left the ground instead of alrdy flying with their Flight Cooldown rdy. LOL I love irony! Yes it does! Hopefully this game pans out to be really awsome. If it doesn't turn out well then they're's always another game to jump to. =D I just hope MMO's start to become more and more interesting skill-class-talent/stigma wise. It would be nice if they made the crash become a stun or a flight speed reduction, or even a flight time reduction instead of completely removing the effects of Disturbance. Oh well.

The thing it's taking me a while to get used to is the fact pat commands have to be casted... Kinda dot get why if i want my pet to do a skill i have to cast a spell and make a magic mark thingy on the mob (maybe thats just the warlock in me that liked to run while issuing pet orders). The same happens with the fact that when im resting, i cant tell my spirit to attack a mob :/
I also dont get the wind stun, because the time between when i press my keyboard and the actual effect on the player (casting + anomations + pet moving slowly towards the enemy + slow pet animation), its almost 4 secs, unless he is alrdy there hitting which is reduced to 2 secs. Since the stun only lasts for 1-2 secs, i would expect it was meant to be an interruption. But anything can be casted in all the time. So far i love my class, but pet orders just seems plain weird. |

Pet commands really should be instacast and the animations are sometimes really slow which matters if you use a melee pet. I don't mind it costs me mana, that's fine but having to stop and cast commands in pvp really makes the pet micro cumbersome at times.
