I just got Expert. I'm one of those guys you hate that get's it on the 1st try lol.
I went 1/1 on both pieces. I literally **** bricks.

im at 11 fails and counting. ive been so frustrated but seein it took some others 26 tries makes me a bit more determined. just gotta keep on keepin on, i guess

This post gives me some solace as Ive failed 3 times. One small consolation is the jerkin sells for 330k to a vendor. I guess everyone and they're mother would be expert if it was easy. Sheesh, praying for my next attempt as farming the mats suck.

I got the blue jerkin on my second try... the expert hat is nice.

However, the profit margins aren't very big... the blue fluxes go for very high prices. Especially the major kind, which are needed for the +5% attk speed leather gloves, making other leather pieces of the same level worthless to make.

I feel for you guys. It took me 5 tries and then finally...I proc'd, and almost failed it. I was cussing my screen for the full time it took to craft the BP. I ended up saving mats and then of course donations from my legion because they love me so..and did 2 crafts on my last try. First one didn't proc, second one did. Prices of the Worthy Premium Armor Flux are coming down on my server since a couple of our Elyos guilds took 2 top forts, figures it would, since I just got my tailoring expert a week ago. 437 tailoring and counting >< /grumbles

I finally lucked out Friday. Farmer bots have been dominating the Auction House market on my server with the Worthy Premium Armor Flux, asking up to 2mil each for them. During my routine Ah search, I noticed one farmer made a very grave error and listed 15 flux for the price he had previously been listing a single flux. I snatched those in the blink of an eye and manged to proc the blue tunic on the first combine to become the first Expert tailor on the Elyos side of my server.

In the two days since I've destroyed my servers expert major flux, sobi, and strong leather markets selling the level 33 and 38 gear pieces. I expect my heyday in the cash to slow down a bit soon, but Im running with it for all it's worth right now.

Spent 2 weeks saving up enough mats for 6 makes, to do them altogether.

All failed. Up to 8 total failures.

Going to stop trying now.

Sobi Tunic crit first time

then cost just under 2 mil to get the Jerkin recipie doing the work order

then spent 2 weeks getting enough money together to make a few attempts

Worthy Noble Durable Tough Jerkin crit on the second attempt

Not sure if it helped but I had full DP on the second attempt.

It took me 1 attempt to crit on both the expert quests for tailoring.............................now what do i do....................lol.....and my DP was empty by the way.....

im on my 12th attempt, ALL failed

first 7 i made 1-2 at a time, and i realised that its useless
then i gathered up materials for 5 attempts (so i can craft all 5 at same time) all 5 failed

Got the blue jerkin on the 6th try. Wish it took me less. :l And crafting Expert gear isn't even profitable either unless you proc Gold/Yellow gear since flux prices are so damn high.
