correct WIN 7 32bit DOES NOT WORK

It does not like the Gameguard client and looks like its booting up but then gives you the infamous blue screen.

64bit works flawlessly !

Especially with 8 gigs (just FYI) for any one that has win 7 there are articles showing a significant improvement when using 8 compared to 4gigs in win 7 64bit Which I would of figured anyhow but not this much..

As far as I am aware it is still impossible to allow a virtual PC access to 3d graphics hardware, so the majority of games cannot be played this way.

TBH unsure at this point. Damn near no one has tested it as far as I know from browsing my typical forums.

We know that Virtual PC 2007 was scheduled to have the feature to access your full graphics card, but was removed to get it out in time to compete with Apple. We also know the resolution was vastly increased in this version, something which was said to be impossible to do on the current Triton 8 meg card supported under VPC 07.

Assuming we'll get more information in a few weeks once more people fiddle around with it :P

And it seems to work to me. I had a... time getting the Chinese/Asian languages installed. There didn't seem to be a way to do it without Windows Updates in 7100 EN build, which Windows Updates didn't offer them. I didn't notice this problem when I ran beta build 7000 JP since the asian language fonts were preinstalled.

But in the end, after the super long install-update wait, it works fine. I'm pleased now.

Nevermind. I got it fixed, seems GameGuard isn't happey when you install DirectX after installing Aion/GameGuard.

I uninstalled Aion, and re-installed it and everything is working perfect. Sweet smoothness on 64-bit. If I had known 64-bit and 8GB of RAM would have made the playing experience this much more enjoyable I would have done it a long time ago.

I'm giving it a whirl now, so far running flawlessly on 64bit with noticeable performance improvements even on a relatively high-end machine.

Well I hooked up an xtra monitor this afternoon to check out how hawt AION was and my goodness, its wicked... here it is running on windows 7 x64...

I been playing with Win 7 64 build 7000 with no issue. I will say, thanks for the 8 gig ram deal. I'll check that out ASAP. Just need to see if my mobo supports 8 gigs.

that's why i can't play any mmporg(using gameguard) especially aion
stupid gameguard gives me bluescreen all the time.... are you sure there is no fix for this? any reports gameguard is trying to fix this or will it even be fixed?

i want to play this game so badly but i won't go back to xp or vista

What revision of 7 are you running masta, I have yet to even see a BSOD nor have any of my friends running on 7.
