So both my more high end PC, and my slightly less than Mid Ranged PC ran the game great, they did an awesome job of building this game to run smoothly even on a minimal system.

my PC is running the same as the less than mid ranged spec, except i have a geforce 7800gt , for some reason, my gameplay is super jerky, i turned down all the setting the minimum n its still realli jerky

can some1 help me out?

I currently run a Dual core 2.2 with 4gb ram, the game runs perfect. I have it running on my 26 inch plasma in hi def. Looks good. I think the game could definately run well with even less.

I'm having trouble with an endless blockade of "AionClient has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error messages. I've been working the software angle, no joy so far.

I've had mixed advice on the hardware requirements. I updated my video card yesterday and bought a HD2400 PRO 512M DDR2 AGP VGA/TVO/DVI-I for my HP Pavilion a430n. I managed the driver for it and the patches.... That puts me at or better than most hardware requirements EXCEPT my CPU is a 2.2GHz as opposed to the recommended 2.8 minimum. Some people have said my CPU should be fine but I'd like to double check the specs on my dusty old version. The official spec's called it an:

AMD Athlon X Processor 3200+ operating at 2.20 GHz

so... does anyone know whether THAT is my AionClient HATES YOU! Go AWAY! issue? :P I can replace that if I need to, right? I'm not so hot with software issues, but give me a screw driver and the back panel and I'm golden. Takes me five minutes maximum to do the deed, and half of that is spent swearing at the little screws when they roll under the desk. That said, if this is software issue based, I need to keep hitting that area of hopelessness, so feel free to direct me back to software hell if that's where I need to be.

I'm not likely to be able to join in for this Beta, but I am really hoping and praying someone can advise me through to a successful download/launch of the game so I can join in on Beta #4. I've got just under two weeks to fix this to make it in time for that date. Thanks for any and all help.

I cant ever see a game taking up 30gbs on a hardrive thats just ridiculous! I know from experience most people dont even have that much room on their harddrives!

Yeah Im not sure why everyone is like "OMG WTF I CANT RUN THIS GAME ITS SOOOO BIG!" My comp can run it and its a 2006 media xp home edition. I AM going to purchase a new graphics cars along with more memory so I can run this game to its max.

Don't know why people are complaining. The NCsoft West requirements cut those 30GB in half.

I was wondering if I have nearly 3G of RAM (2942 MB) and a Nvidia GeForce 6150SE video card and am lagging slightly (though more so in Sanctum, of course), which should I upgrade? The lag isn't constant, just in spots, save for the above city.
Dunno if the comparison helps, but my comp can handle WoW perfectly, absolutely no lag.

What processor do you have?

As far as I am aware, it'd be either your processor and/or graphics card that is the issue; especially graphics card as some take away RAM because they don't have enough of their own.

If you have a single processor, it needs to be running at 2.8GHz or more.

Dual processor, needs to be running at 2.0GHz or more.

3GB of RAM should be fine, assuming your graphics card isn't eating up more than half of it (like mine is. :s)

Haha, I was just asking because the computer place near my house (the only good one in town) said I should add RAM to get rid of lag in WoW way back when (and it worked), so I wasn't sure if that was the problem this time.

I just checked and it said it's running at 2.6GHz; it's an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual processor.

EDIT: It's a Gateway computer, just so you know. Maybe a year+ old
