You wouldn't just run it, you'd be able to run it on full, you have a very lovely lappy - its better spec in some regards than my pc and it runs on full on my pc :P

yay my computer falls under the minimal system requirements so hopefully it will run alright on my computer.

It really depends in what way it runs under min spec - if its graphics card I wouldn't hold out much hope as it plays very jerkily with on board graphics (the hamsters need a good poke) and you may find it tricky to play pvp :P

Vista Ultimate 64bit (All unnecessary services turned off no other program installed except AION at least for this weekend.)


Think I could run on max at 1920x1200 res? maybe have to turn a bit down for raids or RvR?

I plan on upgrading to Phenom II X4 940 and GTX260 (at least) before launch. and 4gb 1066 ram. but wondering what I might be able to expect this weekend going to be burning the midnight oil this Thursday night building setting up and installing Aion on my new 'puter!

They should include a list in their recommended list of peripherals that will not work due to Game Guard.
I don't want to uninstall the drivers for my Razer Mamba that cost me an arm and a leg just to be able to launch Aion.
That would be like plugging in a new graphics card and not install the drivers for it.

All I can say for those who can run games like Crysis / WoW / FarCry (based one). You can run Aion at MAX.


Seriously, the Crytek engine is way better than WoW engine.

This is good news to me I went to systemrequirementslab.com last night when I got home and checked if I could run Crysis and FarCry 2. I passed the recommended requirements on Crysis by a little and FarCry 2 was almost maxed.

That's good news! Guess I will be able to run maxed... can't wait to test it out I missed the first beta event even though I pre-ordered on May 29th Gamestop didn't get my key to me until June 12th! But hey, at least I get to play this weekend many others are still having probs getting keys so I'm not complaining....

Think I decided to try Templar first then Spiritmaster.. I feel like Cleric might actually get played out this time... but I won't complain about not being able to find healers for Elites at least

I actually think you should be able to run that as it is on max even for raids, with the additional upgrades you mention at the end you'll be whizzing along :P
