Aion System Requirements

I am actually quite happy with the sys reqs for this game. They are forgiving and NCSoft has always been able to pump beautiful things out of hardware that doesn't break the bank.

but has anyone got any idea if SLI or C/FIRE, works in this game or atleast helps ?

Well I have 2x 9800gt and the game runs smoothly on max setting.

They could mean the HD 2000 series or maybe there is a x2600 in Korea. O.O

The requirements for this are pretty low by today's standards. When Aion entered development the 6800 was top of the line. I played Farcry (which uses the same game engine) on a single 6800gt and it ran fine.

Currently I have a single 9800gt (which is just a relabeled 8800gt). I ran the beta at 1600x1200 on max settings and it ran beautifully. The cryEngine is SLI enabled, not sure about Cross Fire. I doubt you'll NEED SLI but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt any either.

I was wondering if my specs would run on max settings and if there is physx in the game
I am deciding either to sli my 9600gt or getting a better card and having the 9600gt as a physx card

specs are
cpu: amd athlon x2 4200+ (2.2ghz) more than likely I am upgrading to athlon x2 7850 before release
ram: 2g ddr800
monitor: 1650x1050
gpu: msi 9600gt 512mb oc @ 700mhz
windows xp 32bit

Hmmm, I wonder if my 1.6Ghz processor and Intel family edition video card in my laptop can handle this game.../cry

But my beast of a desktop should be able to do it quite nicely.

It should because when the K-Aion OBT come out my old computer was a AMD Sempron 1.6GHz with a ATI x1550 and it ran the game on all low like nothing

Can someone please explain to me what all the "recommended" specs encompass? Are those the specs that should be able to run the game fully maxed out? If not, then why the !@#$ not?! They should list TWO different requirements: the minimum to run the game at all, and the minimum to run the game fully maxed. I have the x800 XL right now, and have had it for years, and I think it's a P.O.S. I couldn't run WoW at max settings before, and definitely can't now. The user-recommended HD 4870 practically triples the performance of the x800, which I would assume is what it takes to really max Aion.

So just somebody, please tell me why the !@#$ they recommend a card that will only give their game mediocre visuals at best?
