The Windows 7 RTM is stable and free. I wouldn't bother buying any OS until 7 comes out in October. Or if you don't want to buy it... *whistles*

I am running Aion on a year old iMac using bootcamp running Win 7 RC. It has essentially the same specs you mentioned and works great.

Perhaps I should share this. I have a hackingtosh at home and I dual boot into Vista just for Aion. I really wanted to keep my Mac desktop while running Aion, so I tried to run it in VMWare Fusion. Since NA is offline I tried T-Aion and it ran! I was actually running on medium settings and getting 30 fps (good enough for this setup). However, after I logged off and tried to re-login, all the characters were gone. Meaning they were there, but not being displayed. I was so angry since I thought I've found the perfect solution. I've tried all sorts of settings but it never worked again. Maybe some other Mac-heads will give it a try?
I'm going to try Parallels this week and see if it will do any better. At least I know that VMware can provide enough juice to play Aion, if it had worked. |

Hey AvPlaya I tried it already with parrallels and the very first time i loaded it, my characters wouldn't show up on the screen. You know that it won't show when your in your log in menu and the city isn't showing in the middle of the screen, just use boot camp so much better, in fact i'm using all settings at high on boot camp it's awesome.
