I'm getting this error.



Erl(*.erl) files are log files that GameGuard creates every time it is executed. You can receive further assitance on problems concerning GameGuard that were not able to be solved through the methods in the FAQ.

Five ERL files ( npgl.erl, npgg.erl, npgmup.erl, npsc.erl, npgm.erl) are created inside the GameGuard folder, located within the game folder, every time the game is executed. Please send us erl files to game2@inca.co.kr, when a problem arises. We will perform a thorough analysis of the Erl files and let you know a solution to the problem.


Am I the only one and is it an issue I need to address?

I just got the same error VoigtOp. I even went thru the trouble of attaching the files and sending to the address given in the browser pop up window ..the window asking for the .erl files. Well I got the email sent back to me. Funny.. the address you are supposed to send the erl files to so they can figure out a solution.. doesn't exist. Now what?

So Aion 1.5.01 patched and aion launched and worked fine without gameguard errors..

Patched to 1.5.02 and Gameguard error crashes Aion with retarded 'game not available in country error'. go figure. May or may not play open beta now... only 2 days away and i get my first Game guard nonsense. Who knows.

1.5.03 is now available, it seemed to have fixed the "game unavailable in your country".

I keep getting this error while applying the patch. It gets to 12% and then just stops and a window with this message pops up.


"The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion\L10N\FRA\data\cutscene\movie\mv_ credit_deva_start.bik.A-D-D-E-D' because it is being used by another process."

and everything is closed except for the launcher and the updater

I'm not getting any actual errors, but I cannot download 1.5.0.3. The downloader bar is grey and has said 'Downloading..." for the past three hours.

Make sure you have patch 1.5.0.3 installed (right click on Aion in the Launcher and choose properties)

Otherwise you might just have to do some detective work for the GameGuard killer people have been posting.

i only asked coz my patcher was not connecting

now that it patched, game guard errors are gone

the login screen loaded without any problems (on windows 7 x64)

LATER EDIT: my bad, the game crashes after random interval of time ( 1 second - 3 minutes) : "The game or Game Guard was modified" (i turned off antivir/firewall, same error)

I too get this message. Prevents me from playing, which really sucks.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here's some info that may help:

I've turned off anti-virus and firewall - even removed them, per a suggestion in another thread.

Not running peer guardian or anything else that might prevent comms.

I deleted the GameGuard directory and allowed it to me re-installed.

I ran the repair option / consistency check. It all looks fine.

I played both CB5 and CB6 without issue.

Play on a Aion on a china server - without issue

I used the NCsoft downloader to get the 3+ GB patch for OB.

I can connect to the internet and I can play any other game of my choosing, but don't play any other NCsoft games.

I've rebooted just to be sure.

I've tried connecting several times over several hours. While I have logged in and created a character (once out 20+ tries), I can not stay logged in for more than a minute or 2.

Hi, first I apologize for my bad english, so sry if i will run i bad-smash errors. I post 'cuz after tring to update my aion client trough launcher to 1.5.3 version I got this error message:

Error Code: 5 (RepairPatchNotFound):

There is not a repair patch for version : '1.5.0.3'.

The patch servers are most likely in the process of being updated.

Please try again in a few minutes.

Now, i've patch trough torrent to version 1.5.0, everything ok (md5 cheksum, installation, prepatch file creation and so on...), then start NC launcher that recognize the patch, all in 1 the launcher starts directly to update my client to version 1.5.3, but every times i tried to download that **** version the loader freeze at 25% giving me the above message.
I've looked for some suggestion around the forum but just right now seems i'm the only with this error poped up; so plz help i really didn't have any ideas about how to solve it.
