You said it yourself that people pay for bots because they can't do it themselves, so clearly, there's a way to fix GG on your godawful "mature games".

I've commented on how easy it would be to disable Fyyre's workaround since I first played Aion, but whatever, you think you're smarter than me anyways. NCsoft is probably leaving it that way because they know they're already losing business and would lose more if they aggressively fix the GG killer.
I wouldn't be too surprised if they enable it after the game is live: since people can no longer return the game, and I certainly expect to see a lot of nyerking about it if they do. "Good business". Though I can't comprehend why they don't take a legitimate route to making money, like KEEPING CUSTOMERS HAPPY instead of selling them garbage and ripping them off.

Bottom line is gameguard is a total pile of sh*t, and that can't be disputed for any reason.

wow... if you read my posts, troll, you'd see that i said the point of gg isn't to stop hacking 100% - that's virtually impossible. the point is to stop most people from doing it; and stop them it does, which is why people pay for hacks. more people will hack/bot on aion if ncsoft trashed gg, while the problems legit people are having with it will be fixed. i like how you dropped the "gg is easy to disable" piece of bs though. good job

The only way to stop cheaters is to ban their $50 game accounts. No excuses. Blizzard did something very right with Warden and GM activity, while NCsoft has a stick up their arse (as well as their heads). I think the NCsoft gms have always been too busy having gay orgies to actually care about the game, just as long as they make enough to afford their lube.

believe it or not, stopping bots is not the only part purpose of gg. it stops mem editors, packet sniffers, trainers, macros (not the gaming gear kind), all of which are not blatantly obvious to a passing by gm.


warden may or may not be better than gg, but we're not talking about that here. besides, there are tons of bots that bypass warden. the reason wow has a healthier bot vs player population is because of the nature of its endgame content (and the blazing fast speed at which you get there).
what we're really talking about is whether or not ncsoft should drop gg and open up the game to very easy hacking because of few issues that will be fixed. yes, an active gm team is essential to maintain a tight control on bot population, but that alone still doesnt stop all the botters and hackers.

ill be the big man and stop this argument, because clearly this isnt helping you with your anger management problems, not to mention you cant seem to make any valid points.

I didn't say warden is perfect, it does its halfassed job without nyerking people off, unlike GayGuard.
NCsoft gms are useless, and GG/warden/anything isn't going to stop anyone who really wants to hack. Just like copy protection hasn't prevented any game from being pirated.

Might stop a few lamers, but if there's an unfixed hack in the first place, bans and code fixes should be taking place.
Now stfu and stop making excuses for unacceptable software and incompetent ncsoft admins/coders/gms.
