Hi, i hope to find help here since i baught the game (walking to store, cash, buy game so to speak, not via online).

I installed it, did all updates ect. Now when i want to launch the game i get a error

Unable to contact game patch server.
Please check your internet connection or try again later.
If you want to skip the update step, force a launch using the right-click menu on the game list or main button.
Error Code: 36 (PatchServerCommunicationError):

Now my younger bro baught the game too, and he could just launch it without problems. I am aware of being able to launch aion via administrator, i did that too and still i get the error. (this solved the problem in OB but not now).

Next to this, since my bro got further in progress with the game and made his account, with serials , game activation card ect, he ran into a problem himself too. He writes his details in the Aion loginscreen (in the game) and it says his Id and pass arent identified.

Now we wonder, do you need to pay one time first, to get those 30 free days? thats why i thought might be why he cant log in.
He activated the code on his card for 30 days free so we assumed you could play 30 days than.

Hope to get some help here since having the game at home and time to play but not being able to play is quiete frustrating .

However getting into the game at all has priority .

I tried reinstal, launch normally, launch as adminastrator, repair tool, reupdate, i keep getting the damm error.

EDIT: 1 problem fixed, i can get into the login screen now if i totally disable my anti virus software (not the best way to login i gues but it works atm) in the login screen i do windows button and enable it again.

The IP in the addcache file is automaticly replaced with the original IP. In my case 206.127.153.247
That results in an: Unable to connect to Auth server failure.

Can i do anything to force it to connect to the IP i want instead of this one?

I'm getting random lag spikes and disconnects constantly.

And do this to the ENU one?

The file here ENU.pak is
Renamed to : ENU.pak.P-A-T-C-H-E-D
BEFORE moving file to this location:
Aion\L10N

You won't need to unzip them, the Launcher will do that when it detects that they're in the Aion directory. And yes, you do need to do the ENU.pak file as well.

Edit: Fixed the issue myself by borrowing a screen from a friend and changing the graphic settings

Here are the IPs he used.

Europe IP does not help those of us who are on the NA servers. Although my traceroute to the Europe IP is between 120-210ms.

Same issue I have, it times out at pccwbtn.net. I get 350-600ms latency. West Coast of the USA and a 20mbps connection. Open Beta had the same issue. Closed Beta did not when the servers were not located on the East Coast.

A little tip for next time, if you copy the NA link, and swap the NA for EU in both parts of the url, it'll work

Ok everything went well but then I get these Errors:

I click the Repair button, then I keep getting this Error:

Hey guys, I tried the stuff with downloading the patches directly.
I downloaded all of them and it did solve some of my issues.
I no longer get corrupted download, but the main issue remains.

The launcher is still reseting the download once it reaches 100%/ finishes one file.
By downloading the patches directly I went from it reseting on the first file (1/3) to the last (3/3)
the last file is Aion_EU_ENU_0.5.0.0To1.0.0.0.ncpatch as far as it seems at least.

Even if put it in the Aion folder AND copying it twice, renaming one to the NA version, it will still reset it - deleting the file in the process and starting to download a new one.
if i let it download a new one it will just do it again and again etc.

I did try to download a new Ncsoft launcher - but that didn't solve it neither.

Any suggestions ?
