Anti-Virus deleted my aion.bin *aion is not installed*

But it is. Only file that is missing is that damn aion.bin, I signed into my laptop and my anti-virus instantly deletes my Aion.bin and says 'Trojan has been removed'

So now the NCsoft launcher thinks that Aion is not installed when it is, just missing that one file. Anybody know how I can quickly get the file back?

Searched for a repair tool but couldn't find one. Also looked around various torrents sites but still no luck, could anybody possible upload me a copy of theirs? (not sure how big it is)

What antivirus r u using? Mcafee and Norton isn't a problem with me.

Using McAfee here on the laptop. And Kaspersky on my PC which works fine. Just a shame I'm not at home and the only chance I get to play Aion at the minute is in this 3 hour window via my laptop.

9hours to re-install the game is just fail. :x

Ok, I think this was Mcafee fault because I check it and have error 3 or is it my Windows 7. What OS are you guy using?

I can't launch my game either, my aion.bin from \bin32 has been auto deleted, majorly nyerked off.

Yeah, tried a quick update just now and bam, the same "Artemis Trojan has been blocked "message, (using Mcafee FYI, hasnt been a problem since that Beta fiasco till this very moment), I recieved during Beta when GG was trying to update. Now Aion wont start at all. Hmm, sneaky GG trying to get back in?

Can't wait to get home today and see what this launch day looks like lol. Already looks promising hehe. :P

Running Mcafee Myself kept deleting aion.bin. Got a mate to email it to me and every time i tried to unrar mcafee deleted it.

While its not ideal to reduce your antivirus security, Heres how i fixed it:

Open Mcafee Security Center

Computer & Files> Configure >Virus Protection>Advanced>Realtime Scanning>Scan for unknown virus (untick) it.

Close Mcafee Security Center

Run NCsoft Launcher run Repair on Aion or get a mate to zip/rar the aion.bin file and email it to you. Place it in the bin32 folder in your aion directory.

Retick "Scan for unknown virus" in a few days to a week and hope its fixed.
