Well if you don't mind spending money out of your pocket, I'd suggest going for a nice high quality brand such as Sager..
Sager NP5793 Custom Sager Notebook Scroll all the way down to the bottom, and choose customize/buy... Upgrade cpu to T8300, if you want the t9300, go for it, but it'll be a bit more pricey, don't go above the 2.5 ghz mark, as it gets ridiculously expensive for little gain. Change the graphics card to an 8800M GTX, and then set your ram to the "Special" option since you picked up a 8800M GTX, the 4 gb of ram for 35 extra bucks.. If you want anything else to add on, go for it...An alienware laptop at these specs would set you back around 2,600 or os....with a smaller 15.4 inch display...with a shat native res... Sager = The way to go Last but not least, change the hard drive to a 7200 rpm model...And you're pretty much set. It's pretty damn pricey, but this thing would rape the crap out of a Macbook/Pro. Especially in gaming. It's quite pricey at around 2,213...Hopefully you don't have to pay tax depending on where you live...But overall it's the best way to go laptop wise. It'll last you a good long while. Although as mentioned, pricey, 720 or so out of your pocket, with tax and shipping gets even worse at almost a grand out of your pocket. Choice is yours, but if I was you, that would be my route, damn good gaming machine. __________________
