I hope (is maybe too much to hope for) they make it like Starcraft. Not meaning it gonna be a RTS game.
What I mean is all class in starcraft is unique but each is beatable by the other race, is all down to about timing, skills and experience. Maybe some influence of that items too. Like against ranger u use great sword to hit more dmg + range but with some long blunt weapon you knock down the enemy more, and so on. Sorry if is too bad english. |

Im just hoping they give temps lots of snares stuns and root effects, and somthing along the lines of WoW intercpet or charge, because im sure there will at least be one class temps can beat, not to mention the vids i saw the temp did very nice dmg to the ranger he was faughing, the prob was the guy stoped a lot, and didnt had anything that resembled a snare(but i already said this soz) otherwise im sure the ranger would have lost.

Too soon to tell.
They may want to go with a "rock-paper-scissors" approach to the classes or they might want to evenly balance all classes for PvP. Be it the former, it is pretty obvious that Sorcerer and Ranger will tear Templar apart, while an Assassin or Gladiator is going to have the brunt of their power mitigated by defensive abilities of the Templar. If it is meant to be balanced, then some kind of stun and/or snare/root will be expected. |

Stuns and knockdowns will but anyone in their place. And im sure a tank class will have that. The templar will be excellent for pvp you'll all see.

Anyways, depending on which kind of PvP they are implementing, I can see that we would have different uses. If we are the armored protective guardians that I think we will be, we should probably be the last man standing, given that all takes the same amount of pounding. That's gotta count for something, right? ![]()

There is a game i won't mention, where tanks, while having the lowest damage in game (even healers do more), have a lot of utility skills and party buff/self dispels; stun, snare, silence, aoe with dot damage, awesome party buffs, self dispel for slowing effects, charge skill, immunity to cc effects buff. Making them a constant pain in *** that you can't really avoid, while helping their team alot, forcing yo tou attack and kill them.
I think that would work great. |

i think if tanks had the ability to taunt damage to them or assume a % of party damage like a soaker, knock back healers out of heal range, stun and interrupt casts, that could be something u dont really want to ignore.
if the healer isnt getting anything off, and your dps is putting pressure on their dps, somethings going to give fairly soon |
