Templars are Paladin like?

Are they Holy Warriors or something?
Anybody care to explain their lore plz

Hmm the templars.. are
The Templar is a brave soul who must hold the frontline, using their shield to block and parry attacks while waiting for a weakness to show itself before retaliating. A Templar becomes more powerful when struck; indeed they can only reveal their full potential when they are in the midst of combat.

The Templar isn’t just a heavy shield and pointed sword however. Unlike their Gladiator cousins, I have seen Templars using incantations and chants to protect and heal their allies, making them a versatile yet sturdy class.

Meaning, the templars are all the kinds of tanks for example:
-wow (druids - can increse armor etc). (warriors- obsiously). (palas- can heal etc)

They are a class that wants to protects the others sacrificing himself for that. They are holy warriors yet normal warriors. They are all

With only 8 classes, it seems neccessary to bunch up a few of em together for an ultimate tanker class.

similar to paladin in L2 that they deal more damage as their hp goes down...but not a holy style tank

I don't see anything holy about them. Their heal is weak and at a cost of some herb reagent:/ Not including the one with DP. Just... protectors

Not holy protectors, like I see it.

You can't really give him a class, even though he is trained a a templar... He just enjoys being evul.
